We had a gals' nite out today by catching the movie "Coco Avant Chanel" Ker, Ms Su, Valentine, Jasmine, Cloud and I... That makes the 6 of us... Too bad ms dawnut couldnt join us...
It was a bit of a rush as my discussion ended late with Mr WTS.. well, he was dragging a little on the US Trip...
But we made it in time!! since its just at Great World and of course because Valentine drives.
After getting the tix, Cloud and I decided to buy Nachos and PopCOrns.. hahaha, it has been so long since i last stepped into the Movie Theatre. I am not a moview goer to begin with. But then again, whenever out with frens

Well Well, then again, my last movie was on SQ flight "The proposal" hahaha - well, obviously this doesnt count.
The movie is depicts the story of Chanel. How she was left in the orphanage by her father and never return. While working in a bar where she sings with her sister, she works as a seamstress as well.
She gotta her nickname Coco from the song she sings every night with her sister.
A regular customer gave her an entree to the French society and later she fell in love with an English man..
However, wasnt fated to marry the Englishman. With determination, she took some monies from her lover and started her own line of "Hat" biz and eventually the chanel range....

Hmmm.. the only sad thing is .. lack of love in her entire life...

Time seems to passed by so quickly these days.. Its the beginning of another week.
Well, this week does seem a little shorter? Perhaps because of my upcoming weekend getaway.
Or maybe because the boss is not around these two days!!! Haha, better dun let him read this. Well, the mood in office was great but the weather was killing us ALL.
Today is extremely HOT... i was perspiring profusely when i reached the bus stop this morning. Arghhhhh
Shouldnt have wear any makeup as all melted hahaha.. I have used SO MANY pieces of face blotter today..
Even in office, I dont have to wear my jacket at all. And i could feel the heat!!

I was being treated to yummy japanese curry chix rice yesterday evening
Though the chef complained that its a little watery, I find it acceptable. Well, I m being served.. so not having high expectations.
Its the thought and sincerity that counts.. setting aside the taste :) but its really ok..

And was totally disgusted by how some moroons can exist in this world.
Well, I was nice enough to allow "free loaders" for a long while... 18months or beyond?
And realised that I was kinda of taken for a ride. People really can just be so ungrateful and totally ripped everything off you.
Not expecting them to repay you but at the very least , they should respect or minimally
have some form of courtesy before touching and throwing away your things.
The matter of fact is that even if you DONT want those things, you would rather throw them away yourself rite?
It just doesnt pay to be kind sometimes. I wonder what has the world become to have these moroons around.
Pollute the air and the beautiful environment that we are staying in.
I dont think we will miss them if they are not around. Well I know I am being very nasty and evil here..
Just that i dont think these people deserve to be treated humanly and with any single bit of RESPECT.

We had an extremely packed schedule for this trip but i think we've attained great achievements.
Day 1 - SIN TO TAIPEI
Mon and I took an early flight out from Sin o Taipei . well, we arrived at airport at 6.30am
Arriving at Taipei , we checked into our hotel at Tango before going for food hunting (too hungry so didnt capture any of the foodie shots).. before meeting up with Mr Roger Lee, Our taiwan sales agent..
The Tango Hotel, a boutique hotel was recommended by Audrey's agent (Mon's friend who happened to be in Taiwan for some sales call too). Highly recommended for those who are going on business trip.
Not only is the decor nice, it provides Free internet access all day long... How many hotel do that...well, and free flow soft drinks too (though i m not a fan of soft drinks).

Day 3 - Lugang, Zhang Hua
Woke up super early today. Mon woke up at 445am while i did at 5am. We left hotel at 630am to travel all the way to Tai Chung which is about 3 hours drive from Taipei city for a series of 7 meetings (all back to back).
Along the way, we stopped for lunch and took rice bento set.. Its super yummy

past 2 to 3 days before heading to airport for flight back home.... Mon has already gone off to enjoy her extended holiday with Audrey while i will head home.

Well, i came here sick and returning not feeling much better , at least my throat still feels damn "ITCHY"
I must really KUDOs the taiwanese. Our sales agent packed our meeting like "Nobody business"
Since I arrived on tues afternoon, Mon and I had never taken a rest. - I think i dont work that hard when i am in office..
At least i can take breaks here and there... Being here in Taiwan , well at least for the last 2 days... Schedules are damn packed...
We usually leave super early in the morning (yesterday was 640am) and only reached back hotel late in the evening (9 , 10 plus).... And with my body condition, i was so exhausted...
With not enough water (well, couldnt drink too much to avoid looking for washrooms) and rest... its really terrible
However, on the hindside... this is definitely one of the best business trips that i've had..
At least I could see value in my work. Learning about their culture, their way of doing business, strategic views.
I must say, Taiwan has a lot of SMEs whereby the CEOs/MDs are all very humble and nice people who build their career from sratch.. I am full of ADMIRATIon for these people.
At least i feel that they know what they want in life.. unlike some of my bosses...

Weekends are the best part of the week.. Especially Saturdays and Sundays
Recently, my weekends are filled with fun activities...
I used to be wasting alot of time sleeping on saturdays and sundays..
But since couple of months back, I have been used to waking up 7 or 8 plus in the morning
[this is extremely early considering my past routine of 12 to 1pm - LOL).
I also enjoy doing morning jogs on weekends.. (have been ongoing for a while - last weekend was with Valentine at MacRitchie where we did the 11km jog - part of our trg for Standard Chartered this Dec .
Today... going to bring chezzy to attend Mille's bday bash...
Well, bathed her and mum dressed chezzy up.. in her skirt (bought this is Hong Kong) and shoes (that we bought in Taiwan)

Now in this meeting with our partner talking about job scope, feeling so lethargic right now..
hmm.. perhaps not enough rest.. or just very Tired.. Feeling so tireddddddddd...
A fair bit of negativity in my team somehow... ok, target to leave at 6pm today.
Attending a retreat now at MB. Well, i wasnt well to begin with.. but dragged my feet here
cause , supposed to do a presentation for the retreat.
Well, why me right? No idea because my boss cant do it. Haha, :P
Was down yesterday, with running fever and diarrhoea...
Found myself perspiring in the middle of the night...
Well, just dragged myself out of bed.... Well, hope that i could survive through the session..
Dad had a viral attack on his intestine last evening. It kept us awake the whole night.
He was already unwell when i reached home after a jog with Cloud at about 9pm.
He was pacing up and down the hall... On and off, he will go back to bed as well.
However, at 12.30am just when my head just touches the pillow, he had a severe attack.
He came to my room and shout for help.
I could sense that he was in pain and quickly got up from bed. Wanted to send him to the A&E dept but he just couldnt walk
What the heck decided to call ambulance. The medics came shortly after and I accompanied him on the ambulance to the hospital
And then it was the waiting game. Due to the recent influenza A, the hospital imposed strict restrictions on visitation. Hence,
we could only wait outside the A&E Centre..
Somehow, I was super hungry throughout the night. I took dinner at 9 plus and by 1am, i took another mIlo.. by 3.30am, SUpper...Mom was like staring at me and said.. "Ah Ger, you ok? eat so much"hhaahhahaha...
We waited till 545am and received good news that Dad could be discharged... Yeah... So we took a cab back as Nat took back the car earlier. When reached home, it was 615am. So decided to shower and go to work...
But couldnt hold the zzz monster any further so decided to take half day off work and pig out at home...
But i only slept from 3pm to 6pm.. Looks like i will head to bed very soon..:P
This week has been pretty good for me.. Boss hasnt been around since tues evening to stockholm
So Ms KOk and I ended up doing mail archival...
Haha, we are kinda of being warned by our infocomm of our excessive mail storage..
well from close to 800 MB , i have knocked it down to 300MB..

Decided to bring back my office laptop today to continue revising the "Marketing Plan"
For next monday's retreat. The 3 gals, Pei Lin, Ms Kok and I were in a "limbo" mood...
The bosses are rather unclear with what they want... Hence, we spent quite a fair bit of time today
discussing how to strategise to make things work for us instead of against us

And I have just send my sister's resume to my bosses to consider her for a part-timing job at my company

Visited Sallee and Baby Rian yesterday - Great that both mummy and baby are fine.
With G's invitation, went over to visit his 4 babies..Charco (the super mischevious one but with a very nice black fur), Shadow (about 10-12 years, super manja, but i like her), Mei Mei (the super cool one, super "dao") and of course Tasha (the hidden beauty but super shy, got lovely eyes).
I had so much fun playing especially with Shadow and Charco (super notty -using his paws to kick my foot when i was sitting on the sofa). We took a very nice walk down ECP and ended up eating carls Junior. Well, my first try of the Portobello Mushroom (with Chix of course). YUMMY!!! But with one burger, it really filled my whole tummy so i gotta push the onion rings to G.. haha, make him FAT :P SHHHHHHHHH
It was quite coincidental. G and I were actually chatting about Gloria and Wayne... and then when i reached home, saw Gloria's new facebook msg

Immediately, I sent her a msn message. All the while, feels that she is the one that is giving her best but there is no reciprocity from the other side. She has been led on for many a times, which its rather unfair. I wished a could just bash him up and give him a one tight slap on his face. Put it this way, she has gone many times to see him, and all the while, he has been using his "court case" as a reason why he couldnt make it to Spore. I believe that if you set your intention, you would be able to cross all hurdles. He didnt even try at all.
Well, its really timely that she is attending the course, because it really helps her in the healing process. I am confident that she is able to get through this and move on to a better relationship.
Friends are a true reflection of you. So Ah Chio we are all strong women and nothing could stop us from moving on. Go for it GAL!!

But it seems to be inevitable that everyone has expectations for one another especially
if there is emotions attached.
Well, was sharing a conversation with G last evening on this topic.
Perhaps if there is no emotional attachment, there would be no expectations and
everyone can just be themselves.
Its always easy to say but harder to execute. Everyone would bound to have some expectations for one another
especially if the person is dear to your heart. So its just how to manage expectations.
"Management" is the key word.
