So this is why I was late for lunch with Val & YP yesterday:

It was Sunday and traffic was supposed to be light, but it wasn't. I found myself stuck in a jam about 10 minutes after the Sunway toll. Actually, it wasn't too bad cuz the cars were moving, albeit slowly. Optimistic driver that I am, I knew it would clear soon. But it didn't. In fact it got worse, cuz where I was headed (the IMU campus) was right across the road from the Bukit Jalil stadium where the TV3 fest was being held.

I eventually found my way to where YP was waiting for me by the side of the road. She'd said not to turn in to where her condo was cuz the area was packed with cars. We then went on to fetch Val and our late-late lunch.

It could've been a longer time with the two of them over lunch, but never mind, it was still worth the traffic jam.

According to the NST article, the three-day fest drew between 300,000 and 500,000 people a day.

I told Val yesterday that at my age, I can do anything and get away with it.

What I wanted to do was send a certain "macho" someone a bouquet of flowers on his birthday. Alas, his birthday was in June and it's already August.

Can I wait a year to do this, or choose another guy to target?

Hahaha ...

Note: The certain someone mentioned here is not the same person as the certain someone mentioned in an earlier post. For one thing, the earlier one is not a guy. I just felt I had to clarify this.
