Did what? Left my handphone in the car. It's happened before, but this time, it was worse. I'd gone to the medical centre this morning for a quick, but urgent, visit with my rheumatologist. It was mid-morning, the medical centre's car park was full, I didn't have the time to park at the hotel next door, so I left the car with the jockey service. It was only after I'd reported at the clinic that I realised my handphone wasn't on me. I'd left it in the car. Something close to a chill ran down my spine. Nah, I'm exaggerating, but I was scared. Cuz someone else had driven my car to be parked, and who knows if the phone was still where I'd left it. I went back to the jockey service, but there was no one there. Looked around and actually saw where my car was parked, but couldn't do a thing cuz I didn't have the keys to get into it. Eventually, a couple of attendants came by. I told them I'd left something in the car, and asked for the keys. They had to search a while for it but eventually, I was on my way to getting my handphone. Clicked the remote, opened the car door, and saw the handphone in its usual place - on the side pocket of the driver's door (apparently called map pocket). Big sigh of relief ... I doubt I'll never leave my handphone in the car again, but I will try to be more careful next time. |
