Subject:Oops ... I did it again
Time:5:40 pm.
Mood: relieved.
Music:Rocky Mountain High (John Denver).
Did what?

Left my handphone in the car.

It's happened before, but this time, it was worse. I'd gone to the medical centre this morning for a quick, but urgent, visit with my rheumatologist. It was mid-morning, the medical centre's car park was full, I didn't have the time to park at the hotel next door, so I left the car with the jockey service. It was only after I'd reported at the clinic that I realised my handphone wasn't on me.

I'd left it in the car.

Something close to a chill ran down my spine.

Nah, I'm exaggerating, but I was scared. Cuz someone else had driven my car to be parked, and who knows if the phone was still where I'd left it.

I went back to the jockey service, but there was no one there. Looked around and actually saw where my car was parked, but couldn't do a thing cuz I didn't have the keys to get into it.

Eventually, a couple of attendants came by. I told them I'd left something in the car, and asked for the keys. They had to search a while for it but eventually, I was on my way to getting my handphone.

Clicked the remote, opened the car door, and saw the handphone in its usual place - on the side pocket of the driver's door (apparently called map pocket).

Big sigh of relief ...

I doubt I'll never leave my handphone in the car again, but I will try to be more careful next time.
