That's kd lang, one of my absolute, all-time favourite singers. She's released some not-so-good stuff before, but as long as it's kd lang, I forgive her. I greet each of her new album release with much celebration and anticipation, and still remember calling around the local record shops to ask if they had, or would be bringing in, her then latest album, Ingenue (1992). To me, that remains her best album to date, even though I can no longer listen to it in full because of some memories associated with it. That is also the album with her cross-over hit, "Constant Craving". Anyways, her latest album is called Hymns of the 49th Parallel, to be released on 27 July 2004, just 11 days away, although I'm not sure when it'll be available in Malaysia.
