Let's see if I make sense in what I'm about to say.
At work, we use Lotus SmartSuite, unlike many other companies that use "M" Office. I'd always thought Lotus WordPro was a bit retarded compared to MWord because it does not have the "select all" command. Today, I found out it does.
You see, the "select all" command is usually found in the "Edit" section, whether in MWord or even Internet Explorer. But not in WordPro. So for the longest time, ever since I started using Lotus WordPro, I'd been selecting everything inside a file with either the mouse or the shift + down arrow combination.
Today, a colleague showed me where the "select all" command is in WordPro - in the "Text" section where there's a sub-command called "Select", which brings up a drop down menu with a choice of word, paragraph, and entire document. Which makes Lotus WordPro's "select all" command a tad more sophisticated than what's in MWord.
Well, well, well ... Lotus WordPro isn't that retarded after all.
