Except for the Best Director Oscar, all my predictions "came to pass". I'd predicted Sofia Coppola as Best Director, mainly because she's female.
As for the one prediction I was hoping to get wrong, well, I got it right. I predicted Charlize Theron for Best Actress when in fact, I wanted Diane Keaton to win. Keaton, who'd previously won for Annie Hall, had attended the 2004 Oscars dressed in an Annie Hall style suit, probably hoping it would be second time lucky for her. I guess not. She also ended up looking more like the late Charlie Chaplin. In fact, I preferred the outfit she wore to the 2004 Golden Globe Awards. But that's just my personal preference.
