1:21a - Fresh in the world
I am really happy that facebook gives me the publicity i need for my photos :)
Got quite a lot of responses and people are interested to help the AO victims. Even had a friend who offered to talk to his friend who owns a gallery :))) The exhibition plan is going to materialize, i hope.
Even when i was at zouk with shereen and rach last night, a random friend just came up and asked me about my photos. He seemed really shocked that i actually went there and the next thing he asked was if the diseases were contagious. haha, thought that was funny.
Plus there are plans from another friend who wants to do a photography project on AO for a feature on the Straits Times! Great news. She also encouraged me to send my essay to the National Geographic, which never ever crossed my mind.
I don't know but this might be keeping me busy for 6 months before i start finding a job :) The only problem now is finding enough money to buy my own nikon SLR camera or should i just resort to whining to my parents? I think i will pick the former of working part time, don't really want to feel like a bum since they are gonna finance my travelling expenses.
Ok, i will start thinking about the future tomorrow :) Pretty excited!
I really made the right choice of doing a photojournalism project :)

3:25a - Facebook rocks!
Coolness!
I am talking to my ex professor on facebook chat about the photographer philip jones griffiths who published the most influential book on Agent Orange. And he knows him PERSONALLY and i will be going to his friend's exhibition who was nominated by philip to join magnum, this freaking honourable photography group.
But unfortunately, philip passed away just last month. Seriously, i never knew i could be connected to philip in any freaking way. Too bad i can't meet him when he was alive.
Anyway my ex professor says i can send him my works and he will try to help me :)
