Becca played some of the new Deg stuff for me from her MD the other night, using the YIM voice chat feature, but now the clips are up on Go's site, so I can hear it much better and it's sooooo good. *_*
Anyway, I've been slacking. And I know you all probably want to see this lip piercing more than you want to read about it, so here:

It's rather subtle, actually. It took a lot of people a long time to notice at school today. They thought it was a shadow or my hair or something. ^^; But overall, the reaction was good. And my dad.. still doesn't know. XD I told Graham, though. And Harry demanded pictures. I emailed him Friday morning, and then called him that night, figuring he might want to go with us, but he never checked his email and didn't get the phone message until Sunday. >.>
So yeah! Umm.. the story really isn't that thrilling, but we did have some trouble at first. The place Ryan had told me about, Pain & Wonder, decided to inform us when we arrived that they won't pierce anyone under 18, even if you have consent. Poo on them. Ryan got another hole in his ear and we walked down the street a bit to a diner for lunch. My mom [and Ryan XD] were drooling over the emo-boy waiter. Ehehe.
Hoping for the best, we tried another tattoo and piercing place a few minutes away, and found out that, according to a recent Georgia law, anyone of any age can get ANY piercing as long as they have consent. This includes written consent, which seems kinda retarded to me [how can you prove it?!], but also worked out to my advantage. So Mieko and I filled out the necessary papers, and I chose my jewelry [16 gauge stainless steel with a hematite ball], and we all migrated back to the room where we were to be stabbed.
It was fun, because.. it really didn't hurt at all. That messes with your head.. knowing that you're getting a hole punched through your lip, yet barely feeling anything and seeing no blood at all. So joy, that was quick and painless, and then Mieko was in the chair and got her lip and her tongue pierced. Apparently, piercings are becoming less popular, and lip rings are especially rare in the area, so the guy [Ron, I believe.. the owner of the shop] took pictures of us for their website.
And I think my mom's going to go back to him to get some of that permanent makeup done. o_o Tattooing on lips and eyes? Noooooo thanks.
Subject change. Anyone who hasn't heard the new BGM for Shun's site should go listen to it. XD Go to his MIDI page and scroll down to the bottom of the list. The first one is, umm.. written in kanji, so I dunno. But it's trance. Very different, but very cool. The second one, Hell's Drive!, is much heavier but still has a really interesting beat. And the last is Absolute True, which is short and pretty and sad-sounding. Yay, diversity!
Okay, time to work on project crap.
Only two more days until Spring Break! *spaz*
Oh yeah.. happy birthday to Toshiya, Graham, and Yoshio! ^^;; What a day~
