Ah summer. Its my day off today. Thank goodness. I love days off. :D Life is pretty good for me. Work is getting busier, and I've found that because of it my disposition has changed. I'm finding more satisfaction in working. I don't have to sit around feeling guilty about not doing anything. lol. My coworkers are great too. They treat me to stuff (drinks, ice cream) all the time. I wish I could keep up with their generosity. My only complaint would have to be with the lack of cool air in the giftshop. I sweat the whole day. Freak. By the end of the day I'm so stinky. :S lol Ai.. I should clean.

I watched Spanglish last night. It was interesting. I thought it was a pretty good movie. :D I am going to watch it again. :D

Subject:Safe gas, ride a bike!
Time:10:05 pm.
Mood: chipper.
Music:MTV Music Awards.
Today was a good day. We were kinda busy at the ABC in the giftshop today. My coworkers are a lot of fun. :)

While I stocked the fridge, my supervisor, Will, came from outside and was like, "Bernelle is that your ride?" And started laughing. Ciana just came in to tell me that they were here to pick me up. And I was like, "yeah." Thinking that the pathfinder was a nice car to be picked up in (Gerie earlier said that the idea of me driving a pathfinder is cool.). He told me that he was laughing because he thought that the two bikes outside were my ride. I was like, "uh no!"... kinda. So I finished up stocking the fridge thinking that the pathfinder would be outside. I walk out and there was no pathfinder. It was my sisters on their bikes. Ciana had a skateboard. Apparently it was for me ride. They were like, "The car broke down at Paseo so dad brought the bikes."

I started laughing so hard. The whole scene was hilarious. They came to pick me up in bikes and a skateboard. I was laughing my head off. I took the skateboard and we all went merrily along. It was fun. The sun was setting and the weather was great. It was nice to just get out and get some exercise with my sisters. We had a good time. I saw some of my coworkers by the beach. lol. They waved and were nice as usual.

Ciana eventually took the skateboard and I went on the bike. Fressie was ahead and Ciana was on the skateboard. She had to run a bit because the sidewalk was kinda messed up. I was like, "Ciana are you sure you don't want me to pack you?" She was like, "not its ok." Then we got a whiles up and Ciana was packed on Fressie's bike and I took the skateboard on mine. They were ahead of me and then I saw the car parked by the beach by one of those pavillions. Ciana and Fressie were passing the car and I was like, "what in the world..." They thought I didn't see the car and wanted me to get lost. lol ai adai.

So we loaded the bikes and the skateboard in the car. Fressie suggested going some place and riding, but Ciana didn't want to miss her show at 7. It was already 6:45. So we just went home. We were going to go to Asan and bike for a little bit but of course, we can't miss Smallville. :P:P So I was like, "ok, we're going to go bike-riding tomorrow!" We were a bit more talkative on this ride home too. We were in good spirits. lol.

It was a great ride home. :D

Subject:Happy Father's Day
Time:10:53 pm.
Mood: relieved.
Happy Father's Day?

Nothing really special happened for my dad this father's day. He went golfing like he usually does and then he went to go dirt bike riding. I went to work and so I didn't get to see him until about 9 when I picked him up from Ordot church... long story.

His bike broke down yet again (I swear, it breaks down every time he goes out!... ok not every time but its starting to be routine) and so he called me up and told me to come get him at Ordot/Chalan Pago church. He told me twice the place and twice not to forget. I thought I had it down. He was pleasant on the phone. Interesting for having his bike break down on FAther's Day. My dad's so funny. Anyway, so Ciana and I headed over to Chalan Pago church and waited for almost an hour (40 minutes.. I clocked it). It was fun though. We had laughing fits about stupid things. Good times. We were beating each other up... We're weird like that. We punch and slap and find it funny. You'd have to be there or be one of us to understand. We decided to drive up and down Chalan Pago to see if he was coming. Selfish me thought he was making us wait there. Then it dawned on me that it must've been Ordot church. I felt so bad. We rushed over there. "Stupid me!" I kept saying.

So we got to Ordot church. He wasn't there. It was great. :P I felt so bad. Then we stopped at the entrance of the church and I saw his shirt and his towel. "He was here." Then Ciana in all her brilliance remembered that he had a cousin in this area. So we went driving around Ordot trying to find the house. We didn't find it after 15 minutes of driving. We came back to the church and he was standing tehre. Ai adai.

"Where were you?!"

"Um..." Ciana

"You went to Chalan Pago church?"

"uh.. yeah... :s" Me

"Happy fathers day?" Ciana

Smiles...

Hilarious. We then found out that his cousin was driving behind us as we went through Ordot. My dad was waiting for us and his cousin took him to see if we were at Chalan Pago and then came back. He left his bike at his friend's house. Dad knew that leaving his shirt and towel would tell us that he was there. His cousin came back and saw we were there. He spotted us... light complected girl driving a blue pathfinder. lol.

So as a peace offering... not that one is needed... plus I felt really really bad, we went to Payless and got ice cream and pie for my dad oh and a drink. Our happy father's day gifts. lol. Its what he wanted. lol. So it was definitely an interesting father's day.

I love you dad!

Subject:Music-filled Sabbath
Time:12:16 am.
Mood: cheerful.
Today my sisters and I sang for special music at Agat church. We sang Be Thou My Vision acapella. It was pretty. Music is nice. Fressie and Ciana had their workshop concert thingy tonight at the Hilton. We got their about a half hour early. David was there so we stuck around each other. My dad came and we recorded the choir. The songs they sang were so pretty. I loved them! Sadly we didn't record the whole music concert. It was really nice. I was blessed. I could've been in the high school choir but I have to work and I didnt want to be taking off so much because of that. I didn't think it'd be right. Ai... I missed out. I loved the expressions of the singers. They were rocking and had good facial expressions and were really into the music. I liked that alot. We're planning on buying the DVD when it comes out. Hopefully soon.

I saw that St. Johns Charles guy doing his backstage thing. He reminds me of Mr. Meadows.. but younger and more handsome and a bit less useful. lol. Poor guy. He always seems stressed.

It was a very nice concert. Lisa Ludders is the director ... or something ... for the choir Cantate. They were the ones that kinda set up this whole thing. The director of the concert was a special guest (who received an award from the legislature) Dr. Weston Noble. He's great.

Dad and Mom didn't record the whole concert and Fressie and Ciana were just a little upset. "You're supposed to record the whole thing!" Ai adai.. at least they're making a DVD. Plus we recorded a good song that the girls didn't sing in.

I was thinking about Tennessee and the states while I was watching the choir. I was wondering if things like this happened regularly over there. I thought it would and if they do then that's so great! I can't wait to get to the states just to be able to go see a concert or a play regularly!!!! Keith's gotta go with me! (That's kinda lame if I go by myself.. also I wouldn't know what's happening... but then again I don't want to seem dependent... lol oh well.)

Music is great! I'm definitely going to be in the choir at Southern. There's no way I'm going to go through school without being in a choir. It's great. Mr. Rhodes said that they practice quite a bit and I won't have a life. That's just great. I want to be in so many things. I don't think I'll have time to do anything. Oh well... :P God will make a way. (that was one of the themes of the songs at the concert called He Will Make A Way I think...

It was great. I wish they had another one soon. I hope those two join again next year. Ciana might not but we'll see.

Writing is my therapy. I just got finished writing Shan an e-mail and it made me feel better. Writing these blurty entires always make me feel better. I like writing my thoughts. I've always been like this, even when I was in elementary school. I wrote diaries. Recently, I read some and it made me feel so stupid because most of the things I wrote were really stupid things. But they were things that I felt and so its understandable. I just feel stupid sometimes reading the entries of the past because they sound so childish. I'm just glad that I don't write so immaturely anymore... or do I?

kawaii, desu ne?
Your label is the Nice girl/guy. You tend to care
for others over yourself. However, many people
appreciate your caring side and would rather
stick by you than hurt you. But, there is a
downside. Some tend to abuse your kindness and
take advantage of you. You always try to see
the good in everyone and try not to hate.
Also, you have sharp insight and a great
personality. Calm, serene, and understanding,
you make a worthy friend and a valuble ally to
people in need. Don't change your sweet
nature, your constant being-there can save a
life.

I suggest your go into a field that
centers around working with others such as a
doctor, baby-sitter, psychologist, lifeguard,
or Teacher. If none of these occupations
interest you, it is okay then. I am sure that
there are plenty of oppertunities out there for
you.

Beautiful
~*~*~Natural Beauty~*~*~
You're beauty is natural. You don't need make up or
high quality clothes to make you look nice. You
are most likely popular. Deep down you might
feel a little lonely because all you really
want is people to like you for YOU, not because
you're gorgeous. Don't worry, some people will
understand and see that you are a beautiful
person inside and out. You may have a lot of
friends, but perhaps only a few close friends.
Be careful who you trust. There are a lot of
decieving people out there who might use you
for your looks or popularity. Also, do not
judge people. Just because you're pretty
doesn't mean you should go and make others
feel inferior to you. ( I don't know if you
actually do that, but just in case you do
then...don't!!)

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill,
When the funs are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest! If you must – but never quit.

Life is queer, with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won if he’d stuck it out;
Stick to your task, though the pace seems slow –
You may succeed with one more blow.

Success is failure turned inside out –
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt –
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit-
It’s when things seem worst that YOU MUSTN’T QUIT

"I don’t know how many of you reading this article have ever been so worn-out that you feel like you can never recover again. I certainly have. This past quarter, I have been faced with many obstacles. I didn’t know how I was going to make it. Almost everyday I was discouraged, and I felt myself sliding lower and lower into a bottomless pit of exhaustion. Who can help me? What do I do? How do I feel at peace?
There are several important things that a person must realize first about themselves when confronted with this type of situation. The first is that it’s ok to rest. God set aside a day of rest for us to get our heads back together after a hard week of work. Why not you?"

This is the beginning of an article I was going to write. Might finish it later.
