I stood in our kitchen and stared at the two people who were sitting uninvited at the table. My sister glared at the girl with the curly brown hair.
"We can't trust you," the curly heaed girl said looking at my sister.
My sister twirled some of her blond hair in her hands and stood behind me.
"My sister is very honest," I said. "I guarantee she would never lie to me."
"What about me?" she asked.
"I don't know you, so who knows." I said.
The guy next to her looked at me. His green eyes were beautiful.
"I know you," he said.
I shrugged, couldn't place those eyes.
A man with a hobbled back and dressed in brightly colored jester clothes walked in.
That's when I noticed the living room filling up with strangers.
"Oh, no," I said. "I don't have time for this. I want to deal with one group of strangers at a time."
I grabbed my sister, and the 3 strangers and pulled them close. I pulled them up into the air and flew high above the clouds, where I forced clouds together, to harden, to form a high above the earth shelter. We sat around a cloud table.
"Well," I looked at the guy first. "How do you know me?"
"We worked together at the We Iz Heroez Shoppe."
"Ohhh," I stared at him. "I think we made out once in the meat freezer."
"One.." He looked at me. Was it hurt?
The girl glared at me now. Suddenly her anger at my sister was nothing compared to this. Her arms sprung up and enclosed the guy to show me her possession of him. |
