| high fever, rubbing alcohol |

the girl's fever hit 104.5 yesterday. i know i've said it before, i'll say it again.
rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball rubbed on the bottom of their feet brings it down quickly. (it was also time to give her some motrin.) within 10 mins the rubbing alcohol brought her fever down to 103.5. within 30, down to...i can't remember exactly, but between 102-101. the motrin helps, yes. but within those first few mins the rubbing alcohol helps and that is what counts.

saran quick covers. anyone use or have these? i bought some the other day and took one out to cover up some cantaloupe...they look like shower caps! stick-on-your-head-to-keep-it-dry shower caps!
well, should it be raining out and i need to cover the "do" i'll be sure to remember my saran quick covers --the large ones, of course.
