Everyone in our house is currenly medicated in one form or another -- except Dwayne.
I'm taking pills and using lotion for acne, special shampoo and special drops for my scalp, and special toothpaste for an annoying tooth sensitivity that has recently developed.
Angelus and Neko are on Prozac for anxiety (which manifests into spraying).
Oz has to have pills twice a day, oral drops 3-5 times a day, injections once a week, and liquid pain medication every three days for his urinary tract condition.
We also have a feline pheromone diffuser going 24/7 in our living room, which means all the cats--including Niña--are breathing in feel-good vibes all the time.
In a way, it's kind of satisying because things are somewhat better for all of us with all this medication going on. But it sucks because 1) it's expensive, 2) it's a commitment we have to keep on every day, and 3) we'd all rather NOT have to do it.
Oz is the only one whose condition is serious. He is also the one who has a lot of set backs. I had to give him a big dose or pain medication and keep him locked in my bathroom today because he's having such problems. Sometimes I don't think he'll ever get better.
