I got a letter from the IRS. The envelope said, "Stimulus Payment" on the back.
"Whoo hoo!" Dwayne and I exclaimed in unison. "Stimulus check!!!! Hooray!"
But inside the envelope was a LETTER that says something like: Hey, there. Just so you know, you're going to be getting a check for a certain amount on a certain day. That day is not today.
And I was like, "Dudes! Why would you send me a letter telling me about the effing check you're sending that I've already known about for MONTHS? Just send us the damn money already! Every other melon farmer we know has already received theirs!"
Oh, well. Just a few more days now...
