So, this one time at my mom's house, several of us were hanging out on the trampoline, taking turns jumping around, and having all kinds of good fun.
There is an instruction book that came with the trampoline showing different stunts one can try. Lindsey suggested that the maneuver in which one bounces upright, lands flat on one's stomach, and then bounces back onto their feet in the next motion looked crazy hard. I said, "I'll try it."
I don't remember quite how it happened, but I did manage the bouncing and the landing-on-stomach part. Then I didn't move for quite some time. My nose was hurting, my chin was hurting, my eyes were tearing up. Later, I discovered bruises on both elbows and both knees. What a bunch of silliness! I sure did learn an important lesson from that little stunt! Yowch!
By the way. This Trampoline Incident?
It took place three days ago.
