It was so nice to get home before dark today. It is a relief that I don't have work until 12 tomorrow. And I am looking forward to Sunday off. Don't get me wrong, I love my new job but I am exhausted from these past two days.
I went online today and found some activities I can do with the kids. It is hard to do crafts with 2 and 3 year olds but I found some that I can make and give to them and they can add their personal touches. It is nice to send something home to the parents that the kids helped make. And any supplies I buy are reimbursed by the daycare so I don't have to worry about money.
My friend Shasta is having surgery tomorrow to have a lump in her brest removed. They are 99% sure it isn't cancer but that does not mean it won't turn into a tumor so she decided to let them remove it. I am a bit worried about her. She has been sort of distant since they decided to remove it and I really hope she is okay. Even though they told her they were almost positive it isn't cancer, she still must be freaked. If a doctor ever said the word cancer to me I would be flipping. I offered to call off work tomorrow to stay with her since her finacee can't (he would lose his job hence losing their insurance) but she said no. I think I may leave early just in case.
I am off to brush my teeth and get ready for bed. I hope I can sleep in tomorrow because I think I need it!
