Vonda Shepherd - You Belong to Me |

So when is a movie considered pornographic and when is it considered an art? What is art anyway? Was it Chin Chin Gutierrez who said, "I don't know what art is. I just do it." If one is offended by a movie because of its explicit sexual nature, is it considered porn? If so, wala na palang porn sa'ken because I don't get offended anymore ahhahahahhaa!!!
So when I've watched the movies Baise-Moi and 9 Songs, which both have actual penetration rather than stimulated sex scenes, deadma lang ako. Hihihihii masyado na siguro akong madaming porn movies na napanood in this lifetime.
Baise-moi is a French movie which starred, well, porn actors. In fact familiar 'yung ibang guys dun, I know napanood ko na sila sa isang porn movie hahahaha!! The movie is actually interesting. The French title literally means fuck/ rape me. Siguro that's what the director really wants the audience to do, thus the explicit sex and violence. Tipong fuck my very psyche and rape my soul and feel my wrath kind of feminism ang drama. Very I Spit on Your Grave and Carino Brutal. Nothing new really. But no matter how blatant violence and sex are in this movie, talagang kantutan kung kantutan talaga, walang effect sa'ken considering that I'm the kind of person who gets angry watching rape scenes in movies like Jodie Foster's The Acussed or Monica Belluci's Irreversible. This movie is a waste because the porn stars can actually act. All that explicitness and boldness for nothing. It failed to send its message across effectively.
On the other hand, 9 Songs was effective in showing intimacy, passion and even pain in sexuality through the actors' explicit sex scenes. I didn't care much about the plot and the music, but it has live performances by Franz Ferdinand and Super Furry Animals among other European bands.
The girl, Margo Stilley, was cute, and the guy, Kieran O'Brien was pretty hot in a random bloke kind of way. But ohmygad, he's hung as a horse ahahhahahaha!!! At may ejaculation scene ang papa, nakakalibog!! Ahaahhaaa!

What surprised me was it was Michael Winterbottom who directed this movie, the same guy who directed Jude which starred Kate Winslet and Christopher Eccleston (which I remember watching in a local movie house under the title Bare WAHAAHAHAHAHA) and was based on Thomas Hardy's Jude The Obscure. I really liked that film.
So in the end, I don't really care if a movie has simulated or actual sex scenes. As long as it was able to deliver its purpose, keri na. Nakapukaw ba siya ng damdamin at pagkamulat or pampalibog lamang ba? And it's not like sex is still taboo in this age. Besides, if the actors are into showing their family jewels in action for all the world to see, who are we to stop them?! Ehehehe! Mas enjoy pa nga!
