Because I love Nanay Jaclyn Jose, Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros and Filipino independent films or Pinoy movies for that matter, I'm promoting Sarong Banggi which was produced by the makers of Maxi. It will be shown tomorrow in SM cinemas.
Thanks to ate chuayjai, I've learned that sarong banggi pala means one night in Bisaya. Aptly titled because the story happened in just one night. It's about a group of jugets looking for a hookup with a prostitute because it's the juget bida's birthday. But when the jugets found out that the hooker is thunders na, they decided to drop the plan and indian-in na lang si Nanay. But as fate would have it, their paths crossed again.
Sarong Banggi is directed and written by Emmanuel de la Cruz. I will definitely watch it.
