Fabulous indeed! [22 Jul 2006|04:16am]

As most of you already know, the Fab 5 is here!!!! So mega sugod kame ng sister ko, Krista, to Glorietta a while ago. The Queer Eye for the Straight Guy meet and greet session was at 4pm. We were to meet Gerald there. Ver planned to go pero na-late ng gising. Hindi na rin tuloy sumunod ang Marjo after his shift, we planned to have dinner pa naman. Ang baklang Gerald, 3pm na hindi pa rin gising. He had shift earlier that day kase. If I didn't call him up on his cell phone, hindi pa magigising ang bruja! And good thing I did call him up, susme!

The meet and greet session started at a little past four. The Glorietta activity center wasn't really jam packed, but the crowd was considerably large in number na rin. I immediately got excited when I saw Carson waving at the audience on their way to the backstage. Sam Oh of ETC's Rated Oh hosted the show. She was wearing this brown sleveless and backless dress. In furness, she was hot. She looks like Lyn Ching. Thom Filicia was first introduced. He was wearing an orange Lacoste poloshirt and jeans. I couldn't quite see from where I was if he was wearing flip flops or shoes. Cute pala si Thom in furness! Kyan Douglas was introduced next. The girls went wild. Ang gwapo ni Kyan whaaaaaa!!! He was wearing a black long sleeves polo, white slacks and brown sandals. Jusko, napakasarap! Ted Allen was introduced next. He's not quite a looker, but he's very neat and decent looking. He was wearing all black yata if I can still remember right and his usual glasses. And of course, the gayest of them all, Carson Kressley was introduced next. Super greet si Carson ng, "Mabuhey!!!" He's so gay and funny and fabulous ahahhaha!!! He would make the call me sign every now and then. I love him to bits!!! Jai Rodriguez was introduced last. The crowd went wild again. Ang cute din Jai. He was wearing a light blue long sleeves polo that he calls barong hahhaha! He obviously gained weight which is a good thing because he looked stoned and sickly when he was super thin. He brought a digicam with him and would take pictures of the crowd every now and then hahahaa! He even sang parts of All Things Just Keep Getting Better hahahhaha!

The interview lasted for an hour siguro. And then 30 minutes for picture taking and autograph signing. They were very nice and accommodating and funny! I super love, love, love them ahhahahhaa!!! How can anyone not love these fabulous, gorgeous and hilarious gay guys!?!!?!! Seriously!! Super daldal nila, they were sooo spontaneous. Ted said that Kyan's real name is Hugh. Jai revealed naman that his full name is David Jai Rodriguez. Sumabat si Carson, "My middle name is Prada." Ahahahhahaha!!! Then Carson reenacted pa this one episode where he saw a hotdog on the ground. Carson exclaimed, "Oh! Hotdog!", picked the hotdog up and ate it. Ahahahahhaha sobrang funny!!! Thom din is sobrang funny!! He's sooooo talkative!! He's more talkative than Carson. Siya ang hirit ng hirit. Jai's silent lang hahahhaa!! He rarely talked. Thom talked about the importance of personalizing space. You need to have something that is YOU when decorating your room, for example. He revealed that the work he's doing in the show takes 3 days but would actually take 3 weeks without all the help and assistance from his staff. Kyan commented, "Thom's a fairy, but he isn't very magical" Ahahahaha!! Kyan talked about the basics in skin care: cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing. But of course we know that already. Carson talked about the importance of finding clothes that are your size, not a size smaller or bigger. He said they're looking for Filipino boyfriends hahahhahaa and that Filipinas are very stylish and well dressed. Funny pa when they were asked questions from the audience, and Sam would mention the name of the person asking the question, they would ask whoever that was to stand up. One person's name was Naddie, and they kept on saying Maggie haahhaha!!! Sam corrected them several times. Tapos one person's name was Weng, and they all exclaimed, "Is Vera here?!?! Did she follow us??" Ahaahahhaa!!! Tapos another person's name was Judie; Thom blurted out, "Kyan's mom is here!!! Hello mother!!!" Kyan said, "Ohmygad, mom!!! Why are you here??! Go home and find yourself a date, woman!" Ang funny sobra haahhaha!! His mother's name is Judie din daw kase.

It was so much fun!! Krista and I were standing for an hour, and I didn't even feel bored or tired. Those who only have stubs, and I didn't even know where the stubs came from, are the ones allowed to have their pictures taken and their books signed by the Fab 5. Buti hindi ko dinala ang book ko ahahahhaa!!

Gerald, since he woke up late na nga, got to Glorietta at past 5. Sobrang hindi na niya naabutan ang meet and greet. Bad trip because nasa kanya ang digicam so ni walang kaming picture of the Fab 5 kahit from afar! Good thing when he was on his way to meet us, saktong palabas na ang Fab 5, and dumaan sa harap niya, so he was able to take this paparazzi like picture:

Fab 3!!!

In fairness, maayos ang pagkakakuha ni Gerald ahahhaha!! Sayang wala si Jai and Thom sa picture, perfect na sana!!! HMPH!!! Gerald wants to caption it as Behind the Velvet Ropes because of the obvious reason that there were security ropes around the place the Fab 5 were walking on on their way out. Saaay, very Lauren Ezersky!!! Ahaahahhaa!!

After the Fab 5 event, we went to Mega Mall to buy groceries and meet my cousin, Rikka. At past 7pm, I let Krista and Rikka go home first with the groceries, and I accompanied Gerald to buy jeans in Folded and Hung. I swear, I love their clothes, but they're not big boned people friendly. Big boned daw talaga o ahahahahhaa!! And the place is so gay!!!! The designs are gay, the customers are gay, that if you were asked in a slumbook to name the top 3 gay places, you can list down Bed, Government and any branch of Folded and Hung. Wahahahahhahaa!!!

And then Gerald and I headed to Robinson's Galleria. After deciding where to eat dinner, we decided to try Mr. Choi's Kitchen. Very Superbowl of China. We had bean sturd and tofu something, friend squid in pepper and salt, and Yang Chow rice. I also tried their hakaw. In furness, masarap. And their servings are big so sulit even if the food are kinda costly.

We waited until the resto closed down at past 11pm, and then we walked towards Podium. We wanted to check out if they're showing Lady in the Water. Much to our dismay, hinde. Pinaglakad pa ako ni Gerald from Galleria to Podium with my tummy very full, and that is so unforgivable!!! Ahahhahhaa!! Went we got there, they're showing Pirates of the Caribbean and RV or something like that. They didn't interest me so we decided to just call it a night, because I also wanted to watch MMK's episode with Jericho Rosales and Heart Evangelista ahahhahhaahhaa!!!

Another fabulous thing: my wallpaper. Ahahahah!! It's Vanity Fair's special edition cover with Tom Ford and nude Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson. Oh, I just love them!!! Rachel McAdams was supposed to be on the cover too, but she didn't want to bare flesh. All I can say is SAYANG!!!! The cover is fabulous and was done in very good taste.

And another fabulous event on Monday. No, not GMA's SONA, definitely not!! It's Miss Universe once again! It's 2 months late!!! What happened?!!?! And it's in Las Vegas lang. Did Donald Trump suddenly get tired of shelling out budget for the pageant or something?!?! So wrong!! But Carson Kressly is commentating so must watch!! Ahahaha!
