Regine Velasquez - Take A Chance |

I was late for work for 30 minutes last Sunday. The reason: I watched Sharon. Ahahahhahaha!!! Ate Claudine Baretto and Kris Aquino plugged their movie, Sukob, which I am so sure to watch hahahha! I was only able to catch the individual interviews, else I'd be late not just for 30 minutes but an hour hahahah. Sobrang kapal na naman ng fez ko nun kapag tinanong ako, why are you late?!?! "I watched Sharon, guest kase si Claudine." Ahahah anjologs, fan boy! Ahahhaha!
Anyway, Sharon Cuneta can really be irritating sometimes. I'm a Sharonian. Jusko, I so love Sharon movies hahahha! But she can really be too insincere sometimes. It's so obvious that it shows. She described Claudine as babaeng walang masamang buto sa katawan. Haller! Claudine is a bitchesa, and I love her for that. And I'd rather that she'd be that than patweetums in manner of Heart Evangelista.
In Mylene Dizon's Cinema One's Persona interview with Cherrie Gil, the former asked the latter to describe some actors she'd worked with... Sharon Cuneta, Christopher de Leon blah blah. And then Claudine Baretto, whom she's worked with in the defunct TV series, Marina. The Cherrie Gil, who is everything but an ass kisser, said, "She's ok." She stopped and thought for a second, "Hmmm. Yeah, she's fine." Wahahahahhaa!!! Jusko, it was too obvious that Cherrie was struggling to think of positive words to describe Claudine. And Ms. Gil's vocabulary can't be described as limited.
When Cholo Laurel, the cutie and hunky director of Nasaan Ka Man, was asked to describe his co-workers in the movie (jusko, this is staple in every Pinoy celebrity interview hahaha), he spoke of Gloria Diaz and Hilda Koronel so elaborately, describing them as warm, walang ere, basta all that jazz. When asked about Claudine, he just answered, "She's a good actress." Anobarge hahahahah!
And then I read in an article in Yes! that when Claudine was shooting Marina, she wouldn't dare walk on the sand. She would always ask somebody to carry her. And chimes were banned in the set. I think Ate Chuayjai can attest to that. And how about the rumors as old as time na ilang beses nang nagpa-abort si Claudine!??! Tapos sasabihin ni Sharon na walang masamang buto sa katawan si Claudine?! Ahahahha, that was a joke. In fairness naman to Claudine, she didn't acknowledge it. She just said that her attitude is what you see is what you get, take it or leave it.
And then while I was on my way to work, Ver texted. He was watching Sharon too with his mom, and when Sharon said that, tita said, "Si Sharon talaga napakaplastik minsan." I replied, "Hay, my mudra would say exactly the same thing kung nanonood lang siya." Ahahahahhaa!

Since it was my rest day last Friday, I was able to watch Maalaala Mo Kaya. I love that show. There was a time sunod sunod na basura episodes sila, but now, it's improving again. Kung Magpakailanman lang naman at MMK, MMK na ako, jusko ni hindi sila magka-level.
Last Friday's episode was about a woman who's become an old maid because of taking care of her aging mom. Eugene Domingo (aka Simang) played the main character, Gina Pareno played the mother. Jusko, napakahusay nila. Even that very cute fat kid in My Juan and Only (which I used to watch if time permits only because of that kid, aliw na aliw talaga ako sa kanya), napakagaling. Maganda rin ang script, may pagkapalasak nga lang ang ibang twists. I was holding back my tears because after all, bakit ako makaka-relate sa story ng isang old maid, anobear?!?!??! Ahahahahhhahah!!! Pero sobrang galing nila, nakakadala talaga. Bravo!!
