Not too many Filipino artists are into bossa nova. If you're gonna count Hotdogs's attempt at bossa nova in Ikaw Pa Rin using the melody of There will Never be Another You, then that's one hehehe.
 That's why when I heard that a pretty Pinay artist is doing bossa nova, great, I got excited. And then I finally got hold of her album, Sitti's Cafe Bossa. Sitti sounds soothing. Her voice is so light and it's really relaxing. However, she doesn't sound bossa nova to me. She basically did what Sonia (who is actually Paula Terry, not to be confused with Sonia "Listen to Your Heart" hahaahha) did on Play It on the Bossa Nova: rendered pop songs with touch of bossa. But at least, Sonia sounds bossa nova.
Sitti's impressive in Girl from Ipanema and Bridges. I also like At 17, Hey Look at the Sun, One Note Samba, Samba Song, Soft Melody and You on My Mind. I love Para sa Akin, super LSS ako, the best track in the album. Sitti's album is more pop than bossa nova. I thought she's gonna be what Mishka Adams is in the Pinoy jazz scene, but no. But it's good when you want to mellow down during cold, rainy afternoons, which is what we're having a lot of these days, explains why I've been listening to her again and again hehehee.

Wala akong magawa kagabi. I shaved the hair on my pubes, legs and underarms. Aahhahaha!! Now, I'm smooth as a baby. I did shave my legs regularly before but it's too much work so nakatamaran na. But I swear, I won't ever shave the hair on my arms hahahhaha! Ang weird nun!
