At talagang umabsent ako kagabi and I took the risk of possibly being suspended for 3 days for not reporting to work on a block out day pero kiber. Isang malaking KIBER dahil ang kapalit naman noon ay isang gabi with the songbird. Ahahahaha!!!
 And so I watched ate Regine Velasquez's Reflections last night in Aliw Theater with Ver. It was a very intimate event. Maliit lang pala ang Aliw compared sa Araneta na kapag napuno mo ay isa ka na talagang ganap na performer. Considering that yesterday was the last show, puno pa rin ang Aliw. So walang mga dance numbers, mga special effects at grandosong set. The stage was simple, designed only with Ate Reg's gowns which she put on auction, but they were enough to add glamour to the stage. Would you believe that one black gown that she wore in her Songbird Sings Streisand show reached up to 250 kiyaw. Bongga! It was purely a night of divine biritan. It felt so at home, para lang nagpeperform si Ate Reg sa living room or something.
The show opened with the little girl playing Chona Velasquez singing Fame tapos naging dalaga siya at siyempre naging Regine. So from kaitiman, naging kaputian glutathione levels na ang bakla hahaha!! I swear, it was so Barbra Streisand's Timeless ahaha. She sang a lot of songs. She sang medleys of Sharon Cuneta, Kuh Ledesma, Mariah Carey, Sheena Easton, Angela Boffill, Spice Girls (which was really fun), and Whitney Houston songs. Panalo ang Never Too Far at I Have Nothing ng Chona!!! Worthy of a standing ovation talaga. She also sang a medley of her own songs with Jonalyn Viray na walang patumanggang pinintasan ni Ver mula ulo hanggang paa ahahaha!! Sadly, walang Barang medley, isang madramang Papa, Can You Hear Me lang.
Her last number was a medley of dance songs from the 80's, of course most were Madonna's, kung saan naki-extra ang Pops Fernandez at nakikanta talaga sa stage like what the hell was she doing there, haller. I mean, Rufa Mae Quinto, Ogie Alcasid, and Sarah Geronimo were also in the stage because they were the celebrity audience pero nakisayaw lang sila, hindi sila kumanta. Si Pops, hindi, talagang kumuha ng mikropono at nakikanta. Gusto kong sumugod sa stage at ingudngod siya sa floor grrrr.
Lemme just say that kakinisan talaga ang Regine!!! I hate her!!! I wanna be as white as her!! Ahahhaha!! And her gowns were fabulous especially the first one na shining shimmering white lang with matching diamond bracelet, earrings and necklace lang.
The show was really fun. It was laid back, you can sing along with her and not feel awkward about it, but of course, it was sophisticated nonetheless kahit ang bakla bakla ni Regine and ang bakya bakya ni Ai-Ai Delas Alas who was soooooooo funny, I swear!!!
  
After the show, Ver and I hanged out around Aliw pa. Hinihintay nameng lumabas si Ate Reg pero si Ogie Alcasid na lang ang naabutan namen because we left na rin ahahaha.

After the concert which was more or less 2 hours din, Ver and I met up with Marjo and G in Tianenmen Bar in Makati. Then we went down and had a very late dinner in Northpark. I also met up with someone named Jayth whom I met online. Wala lang, kwentuhan lang after. I don't think he's my type. It was fun talking to him on the phone, but he's so bland in person, and that's something he should really work on because he's not exactly a looker. He looks ok in his pictures though.
