 Finally got to see Aishite Imasu: Mahal Kita 1941 a while ago. So so. It could have been a good movie if not for the bland cinematography and awful editing. The continuance was also confusing. And don't let me get started on the casting. Iya Villana (kahit like ko siya)? Yasmien Kurdi (na like ko rin ahahaha!)? Angelu de Leon? The screenplay (M. Butterfly meets Farewell, My Concubine) could have been more polished, too. Sayang because there were many interesting characters. There were lots of quotable quotes too like Pasensya na, hindi makabayan ang ari ko. All in all, it wasn't bad. And for a Joel Lamangan film, it's actually good, but it looks rushed and some of the costumes were out of place.
As for the acting, Judy Ann Santos played herself. Raymart Santiago was just ok. Jay Manalo was good especially in his harakiri scene. Dennis Trillo was also good, but not as good as I expected. I dunno, maybe I expected too much din. I just thought that he could have made his voice pitch a little higher para mas boses girl and a little more refinement won't hurt. He was also distracting in some scenes like when he sang Bituing Marikit onstage, halatang it was just lip synch. Other than that, he's really good for someone who's amateur. Of course, it goes without saying na magaling sina Anita Linda and Jaclyn Jose.

Edilberto (Raymart's character): Ang akala niya babae ka. (pertaining to Jay Manalo's character who was a Japanese soldier)
Ignacio (Dennis' character): Maliliit kase mga mata nila.
Ahahahhaa!!!
And yes, si Dennis Trillo ang bida dito.

My co-trainee and I ate in KFC, Galleria yesterday. There's this cute baby who kept on staring at me the whole time we were there. He was in front of me tapos sobrang nakatitig lang siya sa'ken. Ahahhaa!!! He's so cute talaga! Tapos pinapatawa namen siya, ngumingiti lang siya ehehhe!! That's why I took his picture. I was really charmed by this baby. Gusto ko na tuloy talaga magkaanak ehehehe!
