Watched the last show of Dubai with Ver, Marjo, and G last Saturday night in Megamall. Jusko, kajologan ever ng mga tao. I swear never to watch in Megamall again. Kamahalan pa.
 Dubai is VERY disappointing. I emphasized on "very" because Claudine Baretto's last 4 movies were ok to good, but Dubai was simply bad. Poor character development, weak story, ridiculous screenplay. Ack. Ricky Lee's losing it for crying out loud! At least John Lloyd Cruz and Claudine (even in a supporting role) were good. Aga Muhlach's acting has been the same old thing since time immemorial that he really needs to do something different to make a statement. Sayang ang Dubai. Pinagkagastusan na rin lang ng Star Cinema, hindi pa inayos ang storya at sobra sobra na naman ang hype.
In fairness to Claudine's last movie, Nasaan Ka Man, I watched it again last weekend with Gerald, and the story wasn't as bad as I said in my review here. Masyado kase akong nag-focus on how it was patterned after The Others or The Sixth Sense that I failed to see that it is more of psychological disturbance on Claudine's character's part rather than a ghost occurence. I appreciated the movie more the second time I viewed it.
Gerald, who slept over last weekend, and I actually had an unplanned Claudine movie marathon hahahaa!! So we watched Dubai last Saturday night. Then Ver lent me his Nasaan Ka Man VCD because I wanted to watch the first part as I wasn't able to watch the whole movie when I watched it in the moviehouse with Berns so we watched it Sunday morning. Tapos in the afternoon, we watched Kailangan Kita on Cinema One because Gerald hadn't seen it yet, and he was happy that he did finally get to see it because naka-relate siya kay Lena, Claudine's character hehe. Hahahah, I'm turning him into a Claudine fanatic.
Just why do I love Claudine? Because as a commercial actress in the mainstream genre, she's perfecting her craft, much like what Vilma Santos did to her career. At ang divine parati ng skin niya sa movies ahahahha. Thanks to Ponds Glutathione.
After we watched Dubai, the 4 of us headed to 90 Proof, to get some drinks. I had Vodka Tonic with Sprite. Chika chika lang, and we went home na rin agad. Gerald slept over nga, and we attended mass the next day. Then, we had chocolate mousse parfaitt and hanged out in the ice cream parlor inside the village. Tapos Marjo dropped by the house at around 7:30pm to burn some CDs. He left at around 1am.
Wala lang, that's just how my weekend went.

Went to Ambergris in Raffles last Friday to meet Divine. It was good to see her again after months. And I finally got to return what I borrowed from her hehehe.
