I was so happy a while ago. My trainer, Nicole, commended me on my 5 minute impromptu speech. She said that I speak very well and that I am very fluent. I had a few slips which were forgivable, but I was very confident while speaking in front and my volume was just right (and this was when the rally in Ayala a while ago was at its noisiest. I was having my speech with a background song of Gloria, Gloria Mandaraya sang to the tune of Gloria Gloria Allelujah anobuzzz). She was also impressed with the depth of my speech. She said that my train of thoughts was fluid, and that while I was talking, she was saying to herself how smart I am (my topic was If I have to change one thing about the world, what would it be? I answered discrimination, and I expounded on it.), but I have to practice on my intonation because I sometimes end my sentences with a rising intonation which make me sound uncertain (but that's mainly because I was still thinking of more things to say and didn't want to end my sentences yet). Those are her own words ha, no more no less, hehehhe. But the reason why I'm happy was that this is someone who was raised and studied in the US and who literally spent most of her life there. And she's also been around the States. So if by her standards, I speak very well and my ideas impressed her, then I have so little to worry about. Hehehehe, it really feels good to be reassured once in a while.
So how's my training with Convergys so far? It's all good. It's not as fun as the one I've had in Teleperformance, but I'm only on my 4th day tomorrow, so I know that there is more to happen. We are only 14 in our wave, 2 of which are girls, meaning puro kabarakuhan ang kasama ko ahahahhahaa!!! Kairita nga at first dahil wala akong mabakla so stick to the girls agad ako ahahhaa! The guys are good naman, they're not the intimidating, brusko kind of straight guys. Although, I am very sure that one of them is gay because he would always hang out with me and the two girls. I was with him in the bus pa kanina on the way home, and he was very malamya. Isang pagpapanggap lamang ang pagiging pamhinta niya sa loob ng class!!! Ahahahaha!!!
As for me, well, you can puke now, but I'm also being pamhinta ahahhahaa!!! Well, not naman the nagpupumilit-kahit-nagsusumigaw-na-sa-kabadafan kind of being pamhinta ahahhaha!! I'm just more discreet and less landi ahahhaa!! Well, I'm not doing this to blend in, and if they ask me upfront if I'm gay, I'll tell that I am without batting an eyelash. I'm doing this because I just don't want them to be uncomfortable, and at the same time, I don't want to ostracize myself. It actually feels good to be one of the boys for a change hahahahhaa!!!
