I was channel surfing a while ago, and I didn't know that RPN 9 is still showing the season 4 of Sex and the City. They showed the You have to forgive me episode, when Carrie just got back with Aidan after an affair with Big, and she felt like Aidan is punishing her for that. Grabe, swak na swak 'yung ep na 'yun sa'ken. When Carrie was saying that I can really feel her pain and remorse so medjo naka-relate daw ako ehehehehe!

Gawd, ang ganda ng pilot episode ng Sugo kanina. It was really impressive. I wasn't even excited to see it, and I wasn't planning to watch it, but I'm glad I did. Sana lang talaga magtuloy-tuloy. Everything was great--- the cinematography, the storyline, the script, the soundtrack, the cast, and the stunts were really good. And I'm sorry pero nag-iimprove umarte si Richard Gutierrez. Just one complaint, sana when they depicted that a certain native tribe was "satanic" they could have emphasized that not all natives were like that. Ampangit lang ng image that it might shed on our katutubo. Other than that, the pilot episode was great. I don't want to sound like a kapuso, but GMA is really improving show after show.

I repeat - we are a young nation carving our place in the sun. Young, yes, but we have a past which exalts us, which tells us that we have a revolutionary tradition, and that above all, we are heroic people.
In our search for social justice and a moral order, in our struggle to build a just society, we must rely on no one else but ourselves, endowed as we already are with a history that shaped our sinews and our genius.
And from America, what will we ask of you? Nothing, nothing but your understanding and your compassion.
But first, we must remember.
An except from F. Sionil Jose's lecture Cubberley Auditorium, Stanford University, May 5, 2005
