Just watched My Sassy Girl for the nth time last night with the girl cousins, and I cried and laughed for the nth time as well. *sigh* Emotera na kung emotera pero na-sad talaga ako. I hated Esh. I hated the twink. Men are jerks. O di'ba bumalik na naman sa ganun ang drama ko. Hmph. I told my friends that I don't want love to be too sentimental anymore. I'm over with the dramatics and the sonnets and the arias playing on a first kiss. They said I'm bitter. Why? Because I don't look at love that way anymore? I told them I want love to be just practical. Bien thought it was sad, but I never imagine practicality to be sad. It's not like I've become the Scrooge of love. Rose Morgan has simply grown in me. No no no, I'm not abandoning love and sex altogether and I don't want mere companionship. We love in different levels. I could never love someone the way I loved Esh. In the same way that I have never loved and cried over anyone the way I did with Jerome. If practicality is indeed sad, well then, and I never thought I can find such inspiration in a JC Chasez song, I'll be the lonely one until I find the one...
