Well of COURSE I owled him back right away! I've also ordered some new robes from Diagon Alley via owl order. They're a pretty lavender color with gold trim. I can't wait! I'm floating on clouds! YIPPEE!!!!
Harry... I'm so glad you finally admitted who you've been fancying. Rory's a great girl, and one of my best friends, so treat her well, or I'll hex you. You know I will. Has Ron asked anyone yet? Or is he still cowering in a corner whenever Cho walks by? You know she hasn't got a date, and if you don't hurry, Malfoy will take her or something. You'd better hop to it.
Ginny, meet me in the common room. I'll make everyone go to bed early, or at least before eleven thirty. We need to have a chat :-D and we must make sure no sneaky boys overhear us! Ahem, Harry, Ron, Seamus, Dean! I have some interesting facts to divulge, but they are much to risky to post in a journal!
It's off to Herbology now. Mustn't be late.

I'm practically walking on sunshine...
I talked to Oliver today, through the fire. He surprised me on my way up to bed. He said prefects should have been in bed already. Well, he said he couldn't wait until Friday to see me :) So we had a nice long chat. It was so nice. We talked about Quidditch, Hogwarts, holidays, and other things. He said he can't wait till we meet in the Hog's Head... I can't either. We've been talking for so long, via owl post, it will be great to just sit and have a chat, face to face.
Got top marks on my Potions essay. I could tell it hurt Snape to give it to me. Maybe that's because Headmaster Dumbledore's been watching his grading tactics. I am ever so grateful!
You can't even imagine how great of a mood I am in. Rory, Ginny, we MUST have a girls' talk, tomorrow, at one time or another. I'll owl you with specifics.

Ginny simply WON'T come up to the sixth year dorm to use my computer. Harry says Ron won't use his either. What is it with you Weasleys? STUBBORN RED HEADS, that's what.
I sent Oliver an owl.... I proposed we meet in the back parlor of the Hog's Head, nexts Hogsmeade weekend. You know, less people, more privacy. It's dodgy, yes, but nevertheless. I'm wicked excited ;-)

Oi! Isn't that divine? I can't wait to tell him about S.P.E.W. Hopefully he'll be interested (ahem, Harry - Ron) in the elfish crusade.
Well..... Potions begins in around fifteen minutes. I have enough time to get down there... eh..... I'll update later though. It's cutting it too close for comfort.

I have some gossip... I'm not much of a gossip, of course, but I CANNOT let this one go.
Ron has it bad for.... none other than.... C H O C H A N G.
Yes, Harry, that's right.
Of course he's not going to tell you! There'd be a huge argument. He didn't tell me either, Ginny did. Cho knows, from Michael Corner. She thinks it's "sweet". Sounds a bit patronizing to me, but then again, she is in seventh year, and Ron's barely spoken to her before. Ginny and I've been trying to get it out of him, but he refuses to breathe a word around me. No one reads this save for Harry anyways, because no one has their computers up and running yet. Anyways, everyone considers Cho the best-looking female at Hogwarts, from the first years to the teachers. Many girls take offense at this, but it is the truth. I don't take offense, because I know I'm not pretty, but hell if I care.
Well, as I must rise early tomorrow, I'm off to bed

Hello everyone! Hermione here.
I finally got my computer, and a journal! I'm not sure who else has journals at the moment, but we will find out once the whole network is up and running.
The happenings in Gryffindor house? Slim. Ginny Weasley and I have become great friends, which is understandable, because I hang around with her whenever I'm at the Burrow. She to pieces about her O.W.L.s this year, and I offered to help her. I myself got an O.W.L. in every subject, nothing less than an E (with the exception of an A in Potions. Snape is prejudiced against anyone besides Slytherins).
I've decided I want to be an Auror, and Harry and Ron do also. However I think I have a much better chance, as I am far more dedicated to my studies than they are!
Lately I've been commincating with Oliver Wood... the ex-Quidditch captain of Gryffindor house. He is now playing for the Wimbourne Wasps, and I've stumbled across many fansites for him on the Internet. Anyway, he wants to meet with me next Hogsmeade weekend. He's coming to visit Hogwarts for a week as a special guest, to train the newcomers on the Quidditch team. Personally, I think Oliver Wood was the best thing that ever happened to the Gryffindor Quidditch team in ages, save for Harry and his superb seeking skills.
Now Harry, Ron and I must head down to Herbology, it's quite muddy outside and it may take us a few extra minutes to get to the greenhouses.
