My mother is an alcoholic, and my step father is completely straight edge. He accepts her drinking, but after being together for more than 8 years, he's getting sick and tired of it. Last year i found out my mom smokes pot ( snooping threw her socks i found her stash ). Tonight my mothers been acting weird, moody, and i can tell she's stoned. My mother sends me and my step father off to pick up pizza, as soon as i walk outside and past her car i smell weed. I open up her car and now i know for sure she was stoned that night. Now im not against smoking pot, i used to be a every day user but i cut down. My step father said that we need to talk about my moms drinking..I was like "larry do you have any clue if mom is on drugs, or atleast smokes pot" He said that he knows for SURE that she doesnt and if she did, he'd smell it...Which is kinda funny because he didnt smell it on our way out of the house....
So heres the thing....IDK whether i should tell him i found her stash, and not only is your wife an alcoholic, shes a pot head too. I feel it would ruin something in her relationship. My step father knows nothing about pot, but he's so fed up with her drinking idk how he would react to her smoking pot
any advice!?
