I have lived in Texas all my life. I now go to a very conservative college where I have never been without a boy to carry my groceries to my room or to give me his seat on the bus - It’s just the way guys act down here.
Secret: I think I’m so used to the southern hospitality that when I graduate and leave Texas, I’ll be shocked at how guys act in other states. :/

i bought one in ireland, and i wear it on a chain around my neck,
because it doesn't fit on my fingers
i only take it off if i'm dressing up and it's not appropriate
but i always forget to put it back on.
i tell people that i feel weird without it
but the truth is - i rarely notice.
(and i wonder what that says about me)
