My dream today was very confrontational and angry, probably because I was tired and pissed about Margot's snoring keeping me up.
Anyway, in the dream David and I went to the bank, which was within a computer library. As he waits in line to deposit a check I hop on an unused computer. When I logged in the previous user's Yahoo Messenger popped up. I shook my head but soon got onto Y!A and some Japanese grammar sites. Not long after, with all my windows open, I got up to check on David. As we were talking I watched Susan (the annoying girl in my Literature class) waddle over to my computer and I realized that she was the one who failed to log out properly.
At first she looked around, confused. Then she became angry that someone had used "her" computer. So I walked back over there.
"Did you do this?"
"I went on the computer, yeah."
"What are you doing on MY computer? I was still using it!"
"You were logged out. I had to log back in to go on. You were probably gone so long it logged you out automatically. But, whatever, take it." I exited out of all my programs and left.
As I was walking back to David a girl started yelling at me, accusing me of trying to steal all the music from her friend's iPod. Apparently Susan had her iPod connected to the computer and I hadn't seen it. As she yelled at me and refused to hear my story I became angrier and angrier, until I reached the point where I was screaming in her face and shoving her backwards with my chest. Her friend--a guy--also came to her defense.
They both yelled at me for trying to steal everyone's music and the boy grabbed his CD Player and said, "I better take this before you try to steal my music!" I noticed there was a CD player left on the floor under some stairs. (The area had changed from a bank-computer library to a mall-cafeteria.) They stormed off and I was left standing around confused. I looked around for David but couldn't find him anywhere.
Then the boy came running back.
"I have the wrong CD. This is hers. It's a great band. I listen to them when I go to bed. I bet she does too."
I had no idea who "she" was but I figured "she" must be the owner of the CD Player under the stairs. He swapped the CDs and I spoke to him.
"Hontou?"
He stared at me.
"Watashi... Watashi mo suki desu kara..."
He started to run off, tears welling in his eyes.
"Ki o tsukete!" I yelled out, and then added a softer "kudasai."
The dream ended with me eating ice cream, trying to find David, and eventually ending up sitting with a group of kids watching a movie being filmed. |
