For next year I am applying to live in the student apartments. Right now I'm looking at a 9 month lease in a two-bedroom, 1 bath, full kitchen apartment. The bedrooms are private and singles. It would cost less to live there than to live in the dorms so I hope I get in. The application process starts February 1st. I'm looking forward to the full kitchen most. The apartments are a bit far from the campus (maybe a ten minute bike ride?) but there is the buff bus which goes directly from there to the campus that I can take when my bike won't work. It's uphill a good portion of the way to campus so at least I'd be getting exercise!
If I don't get in to a double then I'm going to try for a quad (still with separate rooms) and if not there then dorm housing at Hallett again. :\ The biggest downer to the apartments is, while they do have high speed internet, they don't have wireless internet. That's fine for me because it's not like I ever move my laptop from my desk, but oh well.
