Back to The Heights-----I love interior decorating. It is just another excuse to stretch my creative wings. Color is my ultimate drug of choice. I want walking into my front door to be like sinking into a bubble bath: comfort, luxury, pleasure...aaaahhhh!!!!! Home. I am a perpetual motion machine. I want my house to have energy too, but I also want it to have tranquility. The perfect mix of cozy warmth & colorful glamor. I have a passion for fabric so this next phase will be like a designing bender. I'll be high all week. I'm very tactile. The feel of something is everything. The house looks spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The floors are almost done. Window treatments & bedding ahead. I am also reupholstering the chairs of my dining room set. My set is an antique French Provincial set that was in The Love's Grandmother's apartment in Paris. She only met me three times & bequeathed it to me in her will. It has been in his family for generations & it is stunning. She was the most fascinating soul. I loved her.

Sunday. I adore Sunday. Church & brunch w/ the fam. Egg white omlette here I come. Hurray for healthy protein, strong nails, shiny hair & abs of steel!!!!!!!!!!!! xo

Today's Plan:
I will actually cook tonight!
brekkie(really brunch cause I'm eating late): egg white omlette w/ low fat american cheese, tomato & spinach, chai green tea
snack: 5 dried plums
lunch: non-fat yogurt
la pause gourmande: apple & almonds
dinner: seven veggies couscous

2 quartered onions
4 quartered tomatoes
1 finely sliced red chili
1 pack fresh coriander (cilantro)
1 pack fresh flat leaved parsley
2 cinnamon sticks
2 tsp salt
1 tsp each of ground black pepper, ginger, turmeric
1/4 tsp saffron threads
8 small halved carrots
4 medium quartered turnips
450g (1lb) cubed butternut squash
4 medium halved courgettes(zucchini)
400g can chick peas drained
75g (3oz) raisins (optional)
500g pack couscous

In a large pan place onions, tomatoes, chili, half the pack of cilantro
and parsley add the spices and approx half pint water.Cover and simmer
for 45 mins.Keep checking as to amount of liquid and add more water if you think necessary.
Add carrots and turnips cover and simmer for 15 mins then add squash,
zucchini,chick peas and raisins and simmer for a further 15mins again
checking on liquid if too runny for you cook uncovered to reduce.
Serve over couscous
