So, what is everyone being for Halloween?
I genuinely don't "do" Halloween. I only dress up if my one close friends has a big bash. She isn't doing it this year. As an adult I've been: Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Holly Golightly & a mermaid. The year I was Buffy (1998) was sort of a cop out. I wore a short skirt, boots, sweater, large crucifix & carried a wooden stake. Not too many people got it. The love dressed in regular clothes. People would ask who I was & I'd say, "Buffy" & then they'd ask him & he'd say, "I'm Zander." We are such punks.
At every party someone comes as a "sexy serving wench" or a "naughty nurse". These are not the girls I want to be friends with. I am friends with girls who dress up like: Medusa, MArilyn Monroe & Strawberry Shortcake. (Actually Strawberry Shortcake was a guy...but I digress. They say your costume choice says a lot about you. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... This year I'd go as a chandelier or a cat. What does that mean?
