11:25p - I love the Exurben
Today I woke up and I was kinda cranky for about 4 hours then Erin called we started making plans to go downtown for a while until the show at the Exurben started. We met a new friend. I think he said his name was shawn. Its either that or John he shouted it out through a passing car window. He was also on his cell. He was driving around in circles until work started. I dont' know where that is. but he had a cool car. It was red and black with lots of tribel stickers. We waved at passing drivers. We got a couple flips off. and lots of peaces and waves. It was alot more fun then it sounds. If your my friend you've done that with me. Then we went to the concert. Freakin' awesome. The first performance was from MXA I think that stands for Michigan X Assholes. I think that what he said. The lead singer had an awesome guitar. Had tons of stickers on them, Anit-Flag Guttermouth and I couldn't tell the others but I think I saw a Linkin Park. Not sure though. The songs were great. and the mosh pit was funny. I didn't join in because, 1 I'm alot smaller then the gyes slammen into eachother. One was having, like, convulsions. It was so great. After they were done we went outside to fallow the band. We went outside and we got demos! 7 of there songs. I don't know what of but I loved the performance. So I'm gonna guess I will love the cd. Then we went back inside to listen to the next band. They sounded like Matchbox Twenty. Which isn't bad. After a few songs and the "Peanut Dance"(WHAHHAHAHA) I decided to go pick up there cd for 7 bucks instead of 10. It was a good deal so I got it. The band was called... uh... hm, oh, Keep Right. They were gave a really good performance. Really connected with the audiance. The did a body surfing for a few seconds because he didn't have that far to go. Not so many people wanted to help him surf. I'm guessing they were a Christian band because the mentioned god in one of there songs and a person with a Switchfoot Tee was there. Those aren't very great signs to tell me that I just got the feeling.

Oh yeah before we went to the Exurben we went to the motherload. This mike dude (a mosh pit gye) asked if we smoke we said know and he mainly wanted to know if we had any paper he could roll his stuff up in, he was pretty cool. Once he walked away, Maddy was telling me about this one gye that was sitting on the couch rolling joints. As soon as she got done describing that gye walked in. His name is Mark. and what do you know, he started rolling joints. I burst out laughing I tried to hold it in but I started laughing even harder. It was so great. Once he was done rolling them he walked off he had duck tape on his shirt that said MXA thats what made me excited to go see them. They are apparently well known. THey said they've done concerts before. So I guess thats were they have no cds.I got the drummers autograph like I'm telling kristi, HELL YEAH! It was a great night. I love fun.
