Ohmigosh! There is a very very good chance that I could be getting an LJ code...today! I am overwhelmed with joy. My months long quest to find a code may be coming to a close. I am so very happy!

And to add to this wonderful day, I'm seeing Timeline later on! I'm going with my dad and little bro, so it'll be a family affair, but that's okay. Anything for Timeline! If anyone wants to see it, I'll be there at 2:40. Perhaps something can be arranged.

I'm going to so read Crazy For This Girl. I love James in that fic. *siiigh*

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

My mom's family is over at my house and the majority of us just finished pigging out on Turkey and all that other holiday food. I had pizza, milk, and a hot dog roll with butter, thankyouverymuch. It's a tradition for me.

Me and the St. Andrew's clan went over to Siena Village (old people place) this morning. We all went around and gave food to old people and made them happy. It was all very heart warming, really. We also went to see our good friend Anna, an ld lady of 96 who we've visited for the past four years. She's still alive, but I wouldn't say kicking. Next year she will be though. I have actual faith that she'll get better. She's such a sweet old woman - you've gotta love her. This was the first year with no waterworks from Kayla and the rest of the clan (except me, who has never cried in dear Anna's presence), so that's a milestone, of course.

Well, I'm off to watch the football game and read The Squire's Tale to Tom. I love that book.

Again: Happy Thanksgiving! *smiles*

Yay for four day weekends! Yay for Thanksgiving!

All you fandomers may have heard of a certain person that goes by the name of Cassandra Claire. Yes, well, she's my favorite author. She's majorly spiffy. Anyway, I like to stalk her/look at her LJ from time to time. And alas, today she posted the answer to all my prayers.

All right, all right. Enough, everyone! In answer to your question, I should be posting the first half of DV14 before Christmas.

*glomps Cassie, sighs blissfully, runs off to stalk another fandom author*

I have many things on my list of things to do today. The list is this, but not in order:

- Finish Timeline
- See it in the movies
- Re-read All You Need is Love
- Practice piano/have piano lesson
- Get homework overwith
- Edit Brittany's fic
- Rant about a certain someone *is mysterious*
- Work on my own fic
- Check on the Portkey RR
- Make "Mevlin is Missing" posters
- Stay up way to late and regret it

Better get going. I think I'll edit Brittany's fic first, since she seems to be waiting for it. Toodles.

Big News: My hair has been cut (Sure, it was two days ago, but I haven't posted about it, so I am now.). It is now 14 inches shorter than it once was. Now there will be some ickle kid walking around with my hair. It would be cool if I recognized them, repremanded, accosted, then patted my hair on their head.

Small News: I have to cook food tonight. If I burn the house down, I will go down with it. I buried a will underneath the Christmas Tree in my backyard, and all who wish to dig it up may do so. I don't belive I mentioned that Anna can have my terrifying savings bonds, so for the record, should I die, she can.

Other News:

Music:Could I Be You - Matchbox Twenty

It's been a while since I updated. I know that you're all so interested with my interesting life, so I apologize for not letting you know about it every single day, like you deserve. I was caught up with school, soccer, and Anastasia and I didn't have time for the important things in life.

Anyway, since last Friday nothing extremely Earth-shattering has occured. I wake up at 6:17 every morning. I get on the bus and sit in the front seat listening to oldies and alternative music. I go to my extremely interesting classes where I learn things. I go to manage the middle school volleyball team. I yell at the people on the teams and excercise my power to order ickle 7th graders about. I come home. I eat food. I go on the computer. I do homework. I watch TV. I read to my awesome brother. i read to my awesome self. I go to sleep and have nerdy and oftentimes Harry Potter-related dreams. And that's about it.

However, while going through my daily exploits, I discovered a very interesting dialogue thing. It is from an ancient Greek play called The Knights. I shall show it to you.

Sausage-Seller: Tell me this, how can I, a sausae-seller, be a big man like that?

General: The easiest thing in the world. You've got all the qualifications: low birth, marketplace training, insolence.

Saugage-Seller: I don't think I deserve it.

General: Not deserve it? It looks to me as if you've got too good a conscience. Was your father a gentleman?

Sausage-Seller: By the gods, no! My folks were scoundrels.

General: Lucky man! What a good start you've got for public life!

Sausage-Seller: But I can hardly read.

General: The only trouble is that you know anything. To be a leader of the people isn't for learned men, or honest men, but for teh ignorant and vile. Don't miss the golden opportunity!

Don't tell me - I know the Greeks were very funny people.

Before I go do something, let me say that soccer season has ended. :( Yay Shooting Stars - Defeated Season. w00t w00t!

Music:Cute Without the E (Cut From the Team) - Taking Back Sunday

I don't get why teachers can give us report cards and we can't give them report cards. I've decided to correct that problem. So here is my teacher's report card. With comments!

Smithtown High School and Freshman Campus - Report Card - Quarter 1

Mrs. Anderson
AP World History
Grade: C
Effort/Citizenship: 1
Comments: Too nice. Knows her topic decently. Does her best with a course that is boring as hell. Voice is too irritating - sounds like a mouse squeaking in one's ear for 40 minutes. Try to improve upon this for next quarter - I've heard they have operations that can be done on the voice box. Or maybe just take the whole voice box out. It would improve your average.

Mr. Corcoran
English Honors
Grade: B
Effort/Citizenship: 2
Comments: Funny in a 'dry teacher' sort of way. Grades too hard. You should want us to do well and give us easy tests. Kind of mean at times. Grade was upped from a C+ to a B because you told the soft-shelled reptilian egg kid to shut up and that you hated him.

Ms. Caronia
French 2
Grade: D
Effort/Citizenship: 1
Comments: Nice as Hell. Boring as Hell. Oblivious as Hell. Should probably learn not to confuse Spanish and English. I'm afraid that I find it hard to stay awake in your class. You should try to be more exciting. Get a new hairstyle. And don't drip sweat on my paper. This is actually considered gross.

Mrs. Majuk
Science R
Grade: C
Effort/Citizenship: 1
Comments: Double period with you should be considered real tourture. Forget the death penalty, just come to science for all eternity! Sure, you're nice, but nice can only get you so far. Being interesting helps. And treating students like they're 9th graders is always nice. Because, you know, we actually are in 9th grade. Contrary to popular belief, we are not in kindergarten. *gasp* But you introduced me to Yanni (yeah east side!), and so I didn't fail you.

Mr. Forazano
Math AB
Grade: A
Effort/Citizenship: 1
Comments: Excellent teaching skills. Funny. Nice. Easy class. Manages to make the class kind of interesting. At least the part where we're not talking about math. Dare I say it...I think I shall: Bravo.

Mr. Gunsel
Creative Writing 1
Grade: B+
Effort/Citizenship: 2
Comments: My favorite class besides lunch. At times you're really nice but then you get these streaks where you act a lot like a real teacher, which is weird. When you're normal you're cool. And you named your son after Luke Skywalker, which makes you a nerd, which makes you cool.

Mrs. Davis
Orchestra
Grade: B
Effort/Citizenship: 1
Comments: Well, I have to say that it's a lot better than middle school with the Bocshinator. Just slow down the tempos woman! And don't make us write essays on tuning. I mean, God gave us mouths so that we could talk. So we were just thanking Him for His gift to us by using it. You shouldn't make us write an essay for worshiping God!

Accumulative Quarter 1 Average: 2.3

I have way to much homework. Fair, it is not. I've decided that I'll do useless internet things until 9:00, but from there I've gotta work until I leave at 5:00. Should be loads of fun. So much for a day off.

I went on a shopping spree the other day. At Borders! It was great. I got (for those who maybe care):

-The Game of Kings
-The Wind Singer
-The Secret of Sarah Revere
-David Copperfield
-Lyra's Oxford
-Dashboard Confessional - The Swiss Army Romance

I am very happy with my purchases. :) They cost about $60 and I didn't have to pay for it! It was great giving the counter person that gift certificate. *sigh* The one annoying thing was that they didn't have the new Dashboard CD. So I got the old one, since I didn't have that. It actually turns out to be very unannoying, because it's a really good CD. I've listened to it about a million times and after two and a half days I think I already know all the words.

I'm actually really excited to go to my dad's team's game today. He coaches at Jericho and they're really good this year. They're playing in the county finals against Wheatley in a real stadium and stuff. It's actually where the Jets (*pukes*) practice. And a ton of people are going to be going. Not that I'll know any of them (since they'll be mostly Nassau people), but it's supposed to be a great game. Anyone wanna go with me? It'd be nice to have fellow soccer fan there (or a not soccer fan) so my mom will lay off with her questions like "what's this, honey, a goal kick?" "no, mom, it's a throw in. note the throwing of the ball, not the kicking." "of course. i must have missed that."

*rolls eyes*

Well, let me know if you want to come with me. I'm gonna go do something pointless for a hlaf hour then spend a l o n g time doing homework. Cya later.

I have just had an epiphany.

I have discovered that Ewan McGregor is really, really, really hot. And he plays Obi Wan in Star Wars and made the movie watchable (the guy who played Anakin sucked and ruined it for me). I changed my icon thing to an amazing picture of him. Isn't it wonderful?

My new love of all things Ewan will not, of course, err my love for Johnny Depp and Hugh Grant and all those other really good actors (it's not that I like them just 'cause they're pretty). It has, however, subdued my love for Orlando Bloom, which is fading fast. ROTK better come out soon or it may just disappear forever.

Which reminds me. I can't wait 'til December 17th.

Halloween was bordering on fun and mediocre. I just can't bring myself to love that holiday. I guess I'm just a loser. Still, looking up perverted things in Disney movies was fun. Who knew Disney was that
debauched?

I'm gonna go to my brother's game now. Then soccer practice. Then varsity volleyball game. Maybe I'll post again later, just because I'm starting to really like my blurty again. Wasting time writing in it is fun, plus, when my mom hears the sound of typing she automatically assumes I'm doing homework.

Oh yeah - I used three cool words in this entry. Anna might like them. She can look then up and be smart.

Anna still has my glasses!

Oh dear. And I need them, too. I'll just have to hold her ghetto sweatshirt hostage until she gives them back.

I'm really going now. Toodles.

If these things don't work I'll be very upset. And they didn't have Lucius or Tom or Blaise. That upset me. At least they have "Slytherin Supporter." Let me just say that although I do love many Gryffindors, in my heart I'mm always be true to Slytherin. I AM A SLYTHERIN!!!

*sigh* I really am hopeless. It's Halloween and I'm too tired to go out trick or treating with my brother. I'm jsut not in the mood. And I was so pumped for it today.

Oh well.

On a non-HP note: I've officially decided that Mr. Gunsel's kids are cuter than Mr. Forazano's kids. Even though Gunsel is pretty much butt ugly (imo).

Today was my conformation! I feel so holy now. *a bright light shines on her head and a halo appears* I, unfortunately, had to sit next to Barish (sp?), and I nearly became homicidal/suicidal...I'm not sure which. He tried to stick a hymnal in his pants and kill me with a needle. I told him to piss off. Afterward, I saw him pissing in a bush.

*pauses*

Oh, the KKK thing. Our robes looked liked the KKK robes. EXACTLY like them. I've got pictures, which I will show you sometime, assuming that I know you and you're not a stalker.

*pauses*

Mr. Nocero was there, which irked me greatly. He didn't sing. Thank God.

Can I still say God? Am I too holy to take His name in vain?

*pauses*

And I only got 65 bucks. All that Hell (I can say that, right?) for just 65 measly bucks? Oh, and I got a shopping spree and Borders from the parents. That was good. And 65 bucks is 65 bucks, right? Better than nothing. Or worse - savings bonds

*shudders*

How could I have forgotten - THE YANKEES LOST!!! I was so very happy when that 9th inning ended. The disappointed looks of the fans and team was beautiful. There was this one guy who was extremely fat and had no shirt on. He looked very happy that the Yankees lost, as was I. He was jumping up and down and waving a fish in the air. His fat bounced. One thought went through my mind:

Must be a Met fan.

Not to say we're all like that.

Well, maybe I do like to bounce my fat and wave fish around once in a while, but not too often.

*pauses*

Well, I'm gonna go now.

Out like the Yankees.

Stole that from Heather.

Damn Yankee fan.

Ha.

"As for me, I wish that I was anywhere, with anyone, making out." -Dashboard

I know I haven't updated in a while. Just know that nothing life-altering has happened in my absence, and I haven't died.

Smithtown Varsity Classic was today and yesterday. I was there a total of 13 hours. I also learned how to keep score. For some reason, I cannot do libero tracking. It is hard to me. John Glenn won the day (that was medival tournament sounding!). They had this girl, number 20, (because you know who I'm talking about) that was an AMAZING hitter.

My favorite team (other than Smithtown) was Copiague for three reasons. 1) I can spell Copiague. 2) They had a cool ace cheer. First they said "1, 2, 3!" then did some complex clapping motions and then said "You KNOW." The you KNOW was the best part. 3) number 10 had a cool serve. She got about 285,693 aces. I remembered how she served so I can try it in practice.

Note the picture. Is it not funny? I thought it was, but that's just the Harry Potter nerd I am, so maybe only fellow nerds (*cough* Heather *cough* Brittany *cough*) will understand. *shrug*

I must go now...Mesoptomia brochure awaits.

How does this sound: Come to Mesopotamia and we'll take out your eye if you take out someone else's eye! Mesopotamia is clean and friendly, and we're only attacked every other day or so! Come and you'll be sure to enjoy you're stay on the river that floods at any unexpected time, and be sure to visit the local ziggurat or court, where you can sacrifice your own children!

I thought it sounded good, but I can always use your feedback.

"Being in love was like China: you knew it was there, and no doubt it was very interesting, and some people went there, but I never would… and then someone passed me a bit of some sweet stuff, and suddenly I realized that I had been to China. So to speak. And I'd forgotten it. It was the taste of the sweet stuff that brought it back? I think it was marzipan." -Mary

I don't really get it, but it sounds cool.

This week was LONG, even though it was actually SHORT. This annoyed me.

There is this certain person, who shall from now on be called 'Bob,' who annoys me. Every second of Bob's life, Bob says "Come on ladies - side out right now." When Bob says this, I want to seriously injure Bob with a sledgehammer and a nailclipper. That is all.

Germany just beat Sveeeeeden in the World Cup final. Let it be known that I said Germany would win the damned cup from the VERY BEGINNING. Bow down to be now, please.

WUSA is gone. Over. Complete. Fin. The End of WUSA. I'm going to cry. I've never actually followed the league or watched a complete game, but I'm going to cry anyway because the idea that the most famous American Women's team can't hold up a league and the stupid president can't run a league right and let it be on ESPN instead of PAX. Who watches PAX? Was that a run-on sentence? Do I care if it's a run-on sentence? Why am I asking all these questions?

Hmm. Oh yeah. I'm becoming a slash fan. It's scary. I read a H/D fic and liked it. *shudder*

I heard this Coheed and Cambria song, and it was AWESOME. I completely loved it. So, after listening to it about 437 times, I downloaded another of their songs. It was also AWESOME. It was a little scary, 'cause it was about suicide (or at least a death thing), I think. But the tune was kinda catchy. *hums* Then, I proceeded to download the rest of the CD, and it was all AWESOME (but kinda homicidal/suicidal/angsty except for one song). I then attempted to burn the CD, and it WOULDN'T BURN. My burners broken! *cries*

All in all, my life is a sad state a the present. I'm going to read more slash against my better judgement. *is devious*
