i was readin the news and i had this thought quite a horrible one, and i dont really support it, but it crossed my mind so we all know the implications of teenagers having babies. usually (There are exceptions to everything), they have a kid when they really shouldnt. theyre not financially stable, or emotionally ready. many times the dad isnt in the picture. all of this causes the cycle of poverty, blah blah blah, aka you have a person bein born whos time is too soon. if mommy-to-be had simply waited a few more years to get things figured out in life, then her future child will have a much better chance of a better future. instead of like...90% chance of sucking at life, itd be a normal chance. so, to end all of this drain on society, more people in poverty...you could prevent them from being born in the first place. make it so you cant have a child until you are 18. aka more condoms and birth control preferably, as the idea of forced abortions is rather appalling. but still. imagine how much different the world would be if you couldnt have a child until you were legally no longer one. |

my new years resolution...after considering drinking only water for a year (ha! like thatll work..... tho i wouldve had oj as an exception lol), i have decided upon better oral care for my mouth. aka brush 2x a day, floss and mouthwash 1x a day im bad at the flossing part... at my last checkup at the dentist, they said i had mild gingivitis and that simply flossin every day for a month should take care of it...and well i was my usual blahh ness with flossing then i looked in the mirror today at the back of my teeth (something i never do), and i was saddened to see what the dentist was talkin about. b/c its fine in the front so i was like psh idk what theyre talkin about, but i can see the signs on the back. so that is my ny resolution. better dentistry-ness. floss every day. i hope it works. cuz it sucks to have bad teeth. |

so i havent written in here in forever been kinda busy actually me n d are engaged now. apparently everybody else had known what was going to happen. i had no clue. lar is very good at keepin secrets. when we were gettin ready to go over to derricks she was like u should look cuter and i was like yea last nye i had just like jeans and a tshirt and so its not as cute in pics, and so she was like yea..want to look cute for pictures...when really it was for somethin else lol. had a fun time at derricks, it was good seein everybody. peeps: me, d, lar, josie, adam, brittany, micah, joe, nancy, her friend...i think thats everyone?? the food was very good. lar and i made cupcakes, the twins really liked them. lol they loved joe, esp cuz he helped them playin ratchet and clank. theyre really into videogames. so we all went out to destin to see the fireworks. we went by the destin sign, aka the lil beach to the right of the destin bridge. it was really cold so i was happy with just seein the fireworks from inside the car but lar was like no i want to go to the beach and see it outside! and it was frreezzzing cold. yea i was freezing my ass off. i was wearin my uggs, new blue jeans (thanks kat!), a tank, pink jacket (thanks auntie josie!), one of derricks hoodies, his moms scarf, and my gloves. and i was still cold. we were all just oohing and ahhing at the fireworks when d was like hey lets go watch from the beach, and me not knowing what was going on, was like naahh i dont want to get my uggs sandy. so we just kinda walked over a lil bit father away from the group, and i didnt think anything of it. it was kinda funny, he was like theres a car right there...and im like hun theres cars everywhere here...your point? so we were just watchin the fireworks and he tapped my shoulder so i turned around and he was holding a lil ring box open and said so will you marry me? and i was just like 'are you serious?', not that i didnt want to, i just really hadnt been expecting it at all (lar said a lot of comments hinting that it wouldnt be now and would be more like valentines day-ish...) and it was really dark and hard to see, and he said yea, and my mind kinda blanked and i didnt know what so say so i said yeah duhh. he asked me if i wanted to put it on now, and i was like i have gloves on and its freezing..so maybe in a lil bit..lol. yea so unromantic! haha. i didnt know it either but lar had been tryin to tape us with my digtl camera...some funny comments on there, maybe itll go in the slideshow one day lol...so yea. i was like 'i was tryin to watch the fireworks! gosh we missed it!' lol...well the fireworks ended soon after and so people started leavin..and they had their car lights on and lar had known by now and was like 'you are so anticlimatic!' and that with the car lights on us itd be a great time for d to actually get on his knee with everyone watchin and well i got a lil embarrassed, idk if he did too, and said noooo. we laughed over how our friends were like 10 ft away from us and had no idea. lar went on a texting spree on the car ride back. and well i had to go pee for like an hour now and i was just like oh no theyll all want to see it and talk about it and i just have to go, so d was like well when we get back to the house make a run for it and go inside before they all get there, and then u can talk about it. which is what i did. brittany was like yea we saw u run inside and we were just like oh no! what happened! lol..but really u just had to go to the bathroom. so the parents had known for a long time. which is what makes me upset about dad, that he knew this was all going on, yet still managed to make me cry 2x, on nye and the day before. over silly stupid stuff. like i had said d's parents invited them over, but turned out his mom might be gone to play mahjonh (turns out that didnt happen, so unnecessary crying...) and dad went apeshit over it, about etiquette and stuff.. (gee thanks dad, u always seem to make me cry when i come home...thats nice..). he barely even talks to me now. i know hes not much of a talker, but its even worse now. some other things that have happened...went shopping with the sisters, took forever to find a pair of blue jeans that fit right. aeropostale ones flattened my butt out, definitely nicht gut. ended up gettin some at old navy. lar bought some sperry's, theyre nice. saw the curious case of benjamin button with lar kt e and wookie at rave. it was a good movie, i was surprised. there needed to be more sexy young brad pitt tho! lol. had dinner at grandpas, had fun playin uno. right now am in biloxi with derrick and his parents. d and i hanged out all yesterday, so right now hes gambling with his parents. its weird thinkin its 2009 already so things i have learned from 2008 *im growing up, if sometimes painfully (thanks katie for showing me how stupid and childish i had been. its never going to happen again. i love you.) *you dont need alcohol to have a great time, tho sometimes it helps (aka lounge! lol) *it seems only after the most painful things happen in life...do you start to appreciate what you have. *distance really does make the heart grow fonder *you should go up to friends and ask them if they need any help *most people you meet in life dont count. (ponder over it as you will). so dont think about the people who dont think about you...think about the ones who really matter *it is really THAT easy to make a new friend (yay engineering girls!). and it does help when you have all your classes together..and theres not a lot of girls lol. to think the 2nd day of class i thought 'im gonna make her my friend'. and then it happened....i will miss them... *it is pretty easy to not go to bed angry. just roll over, say i love you and im sorry and have a few quick kisses, and voila! *the best part of my day is falling asleep with you :) *i realized..u know how i used to be boycrazy? (like infatuated for just a lil bit?)...i realized i can be the same with friends. call it friend-crazy lol. it made me sad when i realized i was 'over' a friend haha. not that we werent friends anymore, we still are. peace! |

so i didnt know this until now... okay so we all know about christmas and hannukah and their origins and such i never really knew the origins about kwanzaa i assumed it was something from africa, since it was (pretty much) black people who celebrated it....not that i knew anybody who did, but when u saw a thing on tv or wherever, it was of black people dressed up in traditional african clothes...so it was a good correlation i assumed still is i wikipediaed it (i know many people dont take wiki as a good source, but its where you still go anyways) turns out its a made up holiday for african americans! seriously! i had no clue! made up in 1966 as the "first african-american holiday" it just made me think how many people REALLY celebrate kwanzaa???? |

i havent updated in forever so many things goin on it was elliott's bday celebrations the entire weekend. friday: went out to urban flats. elliotts friend clyde stayed over for the weekend, hes really funny saturday: went the the ftpis out to patrick, what a waste of time haha. ate at a burrito shop, saw tons of big houses, tried findin hats and camelbaks and stuff to no avail, ended up orderin some stuff online back at the det went to carrabas, didnt go out to the strip club with everybody else since im underage :( sunday: went out to papa gios then to aka lounge, it was really cool i liked it. the mc was funny. it was all black people. its supposed to be a 21+ but we have a connection so i got in yay. listened to the band, some poetry (deep stuff, good...except for the one awkward one about sexy time.."i want you"..ahh..). it was all great until elliott told derrick hey lets go take shots at the bar...and i thought it was just them 2 goin..but then everybody else left! and i was all by myself..it was okay until 2 girls asked if anybody was sittin there (we had the front couch reserved for us and i was sittin all by myself ) and i said yea...then i felt abandoned..and awkward and alone so i texted derrick 'come back' lol. had 1.5 long islands, a shot of patron (good sht there), a shot of washington apple. apparently im funny when im drunk. "who the fuck is angie?" "im not a nigga, im white". clyde straight lifted me off the ground lol. had a good time hangin out with marissa and jamilla and ashley. dont remember the carride home tho. i stretched out across derricks lap lol. ...;)... monday...went to the gym for a bit. slept a lot, chilled a lot. today went to spinning, crazy ahh! sent out my xmas card to aunt ava and uncle glenn. i wrapped up all the xmas gifts and gave derricks his. so he got from me: fable , the new raving rabbids tv party video game, stewie boxers, and the boondocks season 1. so i figured out a way cancel me and d's spending habits..okay not cancel, but equal out something that will sometimes come up between us. i pay for groceries, and he pays for eating out. cuz i dont like paying when we eat out and he doesnt liek to pay for groceries lol. i cooked a lot today, itwas fun. made grilled chz for me and a tuna sandwich for d. aunt ava showed him how to make tuna salad, so he makes that now. then for dinner i made the chicken and cabbage. tomorrow is taco day. i finished the pt plan for ftp. booya. now i just gotta get back into shape lol. time to write my family letter. tata! <3 marg |

derricks mad at me that im not domesticated enuf :( my friend is tryin to recruit me for quixtar. thoughts? done with exams. yay. had dinner with kenon to kill time, that was cool. hes joinin rotc next semester yay! i need to get back in shape :( i dreamed a lot today. it was weird. i dreamed about my fluids exam..again...the question with the pump where i crossed out the 1st answer, i got it right cuz my 2nd attempt was the right one..but i had done the other big question all wrong.. :/...dreamed lots of other stuff, like i was wearin a red bra and u could see it thru my tshirt, even tho i was like its a tshirt, so that shouldnt happen..o well dreams dont make sense. umm...i have to shell out $450 for 3 credits of band. yay......not. i wish i could just win the lottery speakin of which, powerball is comin to florida yayyy!! lol |
