12:01p - Scary Movies, Video Games, and Pimpin' Station Wagons
Jesus Christ, I haven't updated since November 12th! I'm getting too lazy these days. I guess I'll start this update off with the movies. Me and Michelle went to see Scary Movie 3, and despite the bad stuff I heard about it, I think it kicked the shit outta the original. First of all, the whole feel of the movie took on more of a "Naked Gun" atmosphere; things would happen that made no logical sense, and THAT my friends is my favorite form of comedy. I don't think the Wayans brothers came anywhere near this movie, so maybe thats why it was better than the original (never bothered to watch the second one). It had some great cameo appearances, most notably George Carlin and Leslie Neilsen. It wasn't the greatest comedy ever, but it was still a good laugh. It's definitely a worthy candidate for the Bill Dawg DVD Collection.
I can't remember what day exactly, but I cleaned out my car, a 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis Station Wagon. Yup. I got off my lazy yet coveted ass, grabbed my boom box, and headed outside. I put K-Rock on, blasted that sumbitch, and got to work. You wouldn't believe some of the shit I found in there. Besides the usual old air fresheners and Dunkin Donuts napkins (which magically appear in EVERYBODY's car, even if they haven't been to the damn place), I found a bag of old clothes, a pink rag, ancient cigarette boxes, a Santa Claus Pez dispenser, a CB radio, and an inspection report for the car from 2001. Not to mention other smaller, more insignificant things, like straw wrappers.
The car itself is in great condition, although the battery is dead. The paint on the right side is sadly chipping off, but the rest of the outside is good. The headliner is in excellent condition, but the front leather seats are ripped. I'm gonna have to ::shudder:: buy seat covers for them. The tape deck is trash, as it's been merrily eating tapes for years now. The speakers are all crap. So now, I'm going to have to buy a CD player with a detachable face, and completely upgrade the speaker system. That's quite a load of money right there, not to mention the busted air conditioner.
In other news, since almost none of my friends (including Michelle) like The Lord of the Rings, I talked to my pal Rachel and asked if she wanted to see it in December. Hopefully, she can go, cuz I want to see that fuckin movie on the big screen! I'm too lazy to write out the rest of my news, so I'll just make a list.
- I bought the Grand Theft Auto Double Pack for Xbox. That includes Vice City and GTA3. - I wrote up my Christmas list, and it's nothing but CDs, video games, DVDs, and other expensive things. - I chatted with Erin and we agreed we have to hang out soon. - My friend Nick used my suggested band name for his band as a fuckin SONG TITLE! - Jamie sent me her senior pics, and all I can say is WOW (in the positive way). - Michelle wants to go to some open mic thing at her college this Friday. I'll go. - Emily sent me some Fright Fest pics, and I gotta say that I look dead sexy in them. Look for some to be up on my site soon. - I laughed very loudly when I heard about the latest lawsuit against Michael Jackson, that no-nosed white skinned freak. - I can be one lazy son of a bitch.
Out.
