8:08p - BRACELET
I’m backdating this entry to leave a recorded of the day John gave me the bracelet.
John gave me a charm bracelet. He put it on the top of my computer. Them he told me when I got home that he had been to town to buy a few things since he finally got pay for some freelance work he did a few months ago. That he said he wanted to buy me something but couldn’t think of what to buy me.
He had promise me a charm when he got paid, but I forgot about it.
I was on my computer for a while and didn’t realize the blue box on top of the monitor. Them John must been tired of waiting and said: ‘what’s that over there?’
When I opened the box and saw the silver charm bracelet I didn’t like it. I already have a charm bracelet that Sarah gave me on xmas, with 4 charms on it. So I wanted John to buy me special charms for special occasions so the bracelet would have a nice story.
But he got me another bracelet full of charms on it. 11 charms all together.
And what’s the fun in that????????????????????????
The whole point in having a charm bracelet, in my opinion, is that you take your time to collect them. So they will have special meanings.
But now I absolutely LOVE THIS BRACELET.
I like the way it tingles around my whist. And even tough it keeps on getting on my way at work, I don’t mind. I know it probably looks a bit childish but I don’t really care.
I’m still going to keep the other bracelet, if anyone actually gives me any charms, I will put them in the other bracelet. I tried both bracelets together but it as a bit too much.
Knowing myself I will probably get tired of the bracelet in a few weeks time, throw it inside some draw and forget about it
