Hey ya'll! I am the new moderator of this community! My name is Josie. My best friend Marguerite (~ serendipity729) was to busy to maintain a journal right now so she deleted her account. I didn't want this awesome community to go down the drain so I asked her if I could maintain it & here I am! It will be a couple days to settle everything & stuff & to play around with this community's look. If anyone has any opinions on how to make this community more lively than feel free to let me know! hey babes of beauty, i'm new here so thought i'd say a big "cheers dahlings" to ya'all. whoever says we are all superficial sluts obviously has issues and is probably jealous. i just thought i'd enthuse about fake tan and how much i luv it! i kinda look like christina aguilera (or a tryhard christina, some bitches say) coz i have blonde hair (natural but with highlights), and i'm petite and slim (naturally plus i am vegetarian and excercise heaps) and i like singing. meh i hate being called a skank or bimbo slut but it's what i think and what my friends and boyfriend think that matters to me so it's all good! <3 yaz all from blonde babi xoxo
fake tan is the best invention ever invented, doncha think? i use it heaps now coz i love being all brown, coz everything looks good on you and you feel more confident. i don't go to the solarium coz i'm scared of what it does (wrinkles and cancer, my mum is a doctor), and i do a lil bit of natural tanning, but now i am totally loving spray on tan. it's a bit creepy, they make you stand there with nothing on but a disposable g-string, and spray you all over, it's about $55 (australian) and lasts for about 5 days but it's totally worth it, even tho it goes a bit scary after a while, like patchy when it's fading... mmmgah! also, my friend is a tanning-lotion expert, and i got advice from her, and i have never made a mistake with fake tanning lotion. the secret is, shave your legs and exfoliate like hell before and after, then exfoliate all over your body like hell, then hop out of the shower, slather on a creamy non-watery/greasy moustiruser (body butter or nivea cream works best) and then let that sink in, then apply the fake tan all over, work it in lines, then across, then in circles, make sure to conver EVERYWHERE evenly, take your time, go light on elbows and knees. then make sure you blend, in areas like under your chin and neck, apply only a light amount and blend blend blend to look natural, and add more to places that tan naturally like tops of arms and legs. and with tan lotion, don't put it on your face, just use bronzer ok? any more help, just drop me a line coz i gotta run! cheers bellas with <3 blonde babi and p.s. and fake nails rock too they're so gorgeous i like them french with a bit of a square to them, looks gorgeous, the little things that overall add to beauty! and i am not always this superficial ok? i like here coz i can be as superficial as i like and not get bagged for being a bimbo!

I'm new. Just wanted to say Hi.
here's a little bit about myself, if you care...
I'm really into Beauty and Fashion. And I'm an aspiring Fashion Designer. I've taken sewing classes at school, and I'm recently involved in the 'Fashion Club" at my School. I know ALoT about make-up, Hair (My hair is the wildest you'll ever see- and yet, after 16 years, i've acctually tamed it (lol- it's like somekind of animal.), and I'm constantly getting complemented by people at school for my sense of style.
I hope I don't sound full of myself, I tend to be 'Overly-Confident" at times.
Can't wait to start posting!

I wear black eyeliner and black mascara everyday, nothing looks good on me.
I wear a variety of colored shirts, i'm pretty preppy, but I don't think my face cuts out for this preppy look, ya know ?

hi, my name's kelly, i just joined. hmm... i don't really have any tips or anything, but i feel like i should try to contribute something, lol. well, if you haven't discovered it already, you can take old stockings and make really cool arm-warmers out of them. patterned ones look awesome over solid-colored ones. making them this way is really easy, and it's a lot better than buying them somewhere. you can use the tops then to make belts by cutting them in thin strips and braiding them together; if you use different colors the effect is really cool. i made a belt for just about every one of my outfits this summer (i had a lot of time on my hands, lol).

Hello everyone! This is the maintainer. I wanted to tell everyone who joined thank you! I have been trying to get this community up and running. I typed in the interest "make up" and thats why I posted in most of your journals, bc I thought you may be interested. I thought is would be a great idea for girls to be able to talk about this kind of stuff. I came across this beauty & fashion forum. I thought it was so cute but you cant post anything in it unless you are a paid subscriber. Anyways, I have a question for anyone. I am really pale, and I need a tan bad. I don't want to use a tanning bed, Ide rather do some sort of sunless tanning thing. My mystic tan or something like that. Does anyone know what works good, that wont make me orange or streaky?
