Info Name: Amber McKie Age: 22 Birthplace: Gotham City Amber has always lived a simple life. An animal lover, she's never really wanted any more from life. She grew up middle class, was working her way threw vet school, and hoped to one day open her own animal rescue league. Of course, most of that changed when her father died. Conor McKie owed some money to one of the city's mobs. He was trying to make some quick cash to help Amber pay for a few of her classes, and borrowed some money to bet on a horse. Only problem was, he lousy at the races. When he couldn't come up with the money, they killed him. Mr. McKie had no life insurance, so Amber's hopes of finishing school were pushed aside as she started working over time at the box making plant to help her mom pay off her fathers debts. Amber won't seek vengeance. Of course she is mad, but killing the man that killed her father won't accomplish anything except getting her self killed. She knows the way Gotham works. Unfortunately, her father did not. Which is why Amber has taken steps to protect herself if need be. With no formal training, Amber has relied on her Woman's Self Defense Kickboxing classes at the Y, and her Ti-Bo DVDs. At 22, 3 years after her father died, things are simple again. Simple job, simple apartment, simple life. That was of course, until she met a firey redhead in a wheelchair. Her simple life was about to be not so simple |
