Happy 21st Birthday LeeAnn
The snooze button was only pushed 3 times this morning, so I rolled out of bed around 6:30. As soon as I walked out the door the humidity hit me...gross! I headed off for the bridge, and the sun wasn't out but the air was just so sticky. I made it across the bridge and back up to the other side, not quite as easily as yesterday, but it still didn't kill me. Instead of going back to the house from the bridge I decided to try and do both routes I've been running and I turned to go up University. I did have to stop for traffic when crossing Greensboro on the way back but other than that I did fairly well. I ran to hackberry, then down to Bryant before heading back to the house. Eventually I couldn't feel much of anything on my right side except when I tried to breathe in and out there was a nice little pain in my side. I figured since I couldn't really get much air in this way I should stop...sad day; I did make it back the stadium which was about 4.3 miles running this morning, almost 5 with the walking. I'll get to 5 sooner or later. I also saw a number on the scale this morning that I haven't seen in a while, which was exciting. Granted I don't trust it at all considering I must have lost about 5 pounds in sweat while running this morning, but eh.
Go carts are coming to camp today and then we're going to the pool since we missed last Tuesday...because...it didn't rain, but whatever. Rebecca is coming into town, so we're all going to eat once I get off work. She surprised me last night when she IMed me, hey if I come by tomorrow will you be there. I had no idea she was coming, but it'll be good to see her, I haven't seen her in a while now.
Oh, and Happy Birthday to LeeAnn who is now legal! We will definitely celebrate when you get back to the states. Since I will be legal soon after that! |
