    Time Event
    6:14p
    Back in Tuscaloosa
Saturday, I started off at the hairdresser to get my hair done half up, half down as requested by the maid of honor. Now with my hair being a good 4 inches longer than everyone else's the hair dresser and I didn't think it would look good straight. SO the curlers came out; my hair however, is not a fan of being in curls. It likes to be straight, straight as a board actually; it knows that's its job and it has done it well for 20 years now. Anyway, to combat the being straight issue Donna (hairdresser) proceeded to spray it before she put it in the curlers, as it was going in, and once it was in the curlers. Then I got to feel VERY old lady like and sit under the drier for two cycles (to help it hold). Once my head got to the point where I thought it might naturally combust due to the heat and all of the hair spray she took me out, and then used the curling iron as she took my hair out of the curlers and of course more hairspray. Surprisingly though my hair held, and it held all day...granted it felt like dried out hay, but it was curly, half up, half down, dried out hay.
Once I left with my curly hair I went straight to the church, one of Heather Wade's aunts did my makeup and we all got ready for pictures. The pictures didn't take too long, and then we just had to wait for the wedding. The wedding went well, it was a beautiful service, Heather W looked gorgeous and lots of old men told Heather and I we did too, which is kind of scary but whatever. Of course Heather W is like a size two, so how could she not, but anyway. Every bridesmaid stepped on their dress going up the stairs but according to my mother and Heather's mom you couldn't tell. Whatever, I'm sure you could totally tell and they just didn't want us to feel bad. The limo didn't show up on time for Heather W and Nick to leave at 6, so they acted like they left in his truck. That way everyone else could leave and not feel bad; the limo came at 7 and then I headed to the ballpark to catch Ashley's last game.
They won, and she played well so that was good. She still can't throw really, but we're working on it. I did get to see the lovely wife of my brother at the ballpark though. I did a good job of not speaking and avoiding her at all costs. I know I should be civil to her, but honestly...my give a damn is busted (great song by the way). I just don't care that I don't like her or that she knows. If I wouldn't end up where my brother is now I probably would have taken a bat to her a long time ago, but that's for another post I guess.
This morning I ate of course because that is what I do when I'm at home. My parents are bound and determined to make me weigh 200 pounds, but they make it taste so good, I just can't pass it up. And I might as well eat it while it's free, right? After eating I practiced with Ashley and then with my little skipper (Anthony) before I had to come back up here.
I returned to a green fish tank because I left the light and heater on. So I have cleaned it out and the fish seem to be okay, but we'll see. Other than that, I have watered the flowers and unpacked some. I still have a lot left, but I'm obviously procrastinating. So there you have it, you should be caught up. Please comment.
