Chillin' in Mobile
It's been awhile since I posted, so I figured I should update. Wednesday after class I went with Rachel to pick out a present for lingerie shower. I also went to Kinko’s to print out some CK stuff and then we went and got some fish for her tank. I had to go to Wal-Mart so I could cook after the meeting and that took a REALLY long time. First I couldn't find the water chestnuts and then I got behind this guy in line who had to get his check cashed or something. I honestly think if you're going to have to do something other than pay for your groceries when you get to the cashier, you should have to wear a sign so people will know not to get behind you. Anyway, the meeting was good and short, so I got home and had everything cooked by 9. Some folks came over and we ate, I think the food turned out alright and there weren't any complaints, but who knows.
Once everyone left I went to look over my psychology stuff and realized that my departmental activities were due on Thursday instead of next week like I though. SO I was up till three and then again at 6 getting stuff done, but I did get it all done.
I left after class on Thursday and went straight to the lingerie shower when I got back into town. The shower went well, but I'm really glad Heather was there because there were older people there too that I was not expecting. Heather and I were pretty much the only ones who got Heather W anything good...and by good I mean good in a bad way. Her grandmother did make the comment, though that she knew Heather and I would get her some actual lingerie, so whatever we did and it was fun.
Today I woke up to Anthony pouncing on me at 7:25. He was ready to watch Pokemon so that's what I did until the kids left to go to the dentist. Then mom and I went shopping. I got another little black dress that I think will work for something at ICON, so yay!
The plan was to go to a movie with Heather and Heather before the rehearsal dinner tonight but that fell through, yay, I really didn't want to go. Actually Heather didn't want to either, but eh Heather W's gettin' married tomorrow so we didn't want to tell her no. Anyway, now I'm just chillin' with the kids and the parents until the rehearsal dinner at 6. We’re wearing T-shirts and khakis tonight which I was a little leery of, but the shirts are actually really cute. They're like a jersey that say Bride's Team on the front and Bridesmaid on the back...it can be worn in public so yay for that. Alright well I think this is really too long but you're probably still reading so eh. I'll keep you updated on how the dinner goes, one of the guys I kind of dated in high school is a groomsman so we'll see how that goes. Comment please and I hope everyone is having a good weekend. |
