I love unorganized professors
Most of the day yesterday was spent proofing and doing citations for my term paper that was due at 12:30. It is really a complicated process to proof a paper when two people write it, and both are trying to proof it at the same time. Anyway, it was proofed, printed, and bound with about 45 minutes to spare so yay! I went to the class in which my paper was due, and it actually wasn't that bad. Mostly because Tyler is in there and he keeps me entertained, but whatever.
After class I stopped by my 319 (basic ChemE lab) professor's office to pick up my last technical report I had turned in like two weeks ago. I go in, and he rummages through the reports on the table...none of them are mine. So he proceeds to ask who was in my group and then tells me that he gave it to Marla the day before. Now Marla had called me around 11 pm the night before to see if I had gotten my paper back, so...no...he didn't give it to Marla. He lost it, yep, LOST IT! Blah, so I had to go home and print out another one for him. Of course, I forgot to add the appendices to this one because they were saved in Excel not word, and some of them were hand written derivations and stuff. Anyway, he didn't make me redo them and said that he'd ask if he couldn't find the first copy and needed to see the appendices. *SIGH* Unorganized people just bother me.
Well, after turning in my paper AGAIN, I went to help Steven set up his aquarium, we were going to work out too but didn't have enough time cause I had to be at my psych review. The psych review was pretty much pointless, but they gave us two questions from the test, so I know I'll at least get two!
A good chunk of my night was spent cleaning. Now, I love to clean...but...it gets ridiculous how much I clean up after my roommates. Yes, I continue to do it, and yes I know I shouldn't, but I just can't stand living in filth. Anyway, I cleaned the kitchen, the living room, and my room. It all looks MUCH better. Then I cooked because I remembered I had pork chops in the freezer. So, I fired 'em up and had pork chops and mac and cheese for dinner. Oh and lets not forget the tea, I also made tea.
Oh, I also talked to mom yesterday...big surprise...but Ashley hit one to the outfield in her game last night. She can hit really well but we just have to work on her arm. I don't understand why she's having issues throwing, she could throw well last season. Oh well, she was very excited about her triple so that's good. Anthony also needs to work on his throwing, but as long as he's not skipping I'll be happy.
Today I have one class, but I think I'm going to plant the flowers I bought Sunday and help some folks pick out fish too. I also have to read some psych for my test tomorrow, pack for the trip home for Heather's wedding, and do some CK stuff. Alright, I think that' s plenty for now. I'm going to plant some flowers! |
