What I've Done
Hello, dear spontaneous reader!

You may remember this entry (here he goes again, you may be thinking, referring to himself - what a big-headed so-and-so), in which I discuss the fact that I can't find a particular videogame. Well!

This morning I headed for Sainsbury's before work, intending to have a look for it there. I met a colleague walking to work, and we teamed up (he's a lovely fellow). As we walked through the aisles to the videogame section at the back of the shop, I crossed my fingers and said "Come on, give me some Christmas cheer". And... IT WAS THERE! I laughed like an evil genius's apprentice and snatched a copy from the shelves.

A store assistant said they'd had a delivery of twelve copies yesterday, and that they could probably sell it for twice as much. I mentioned that I'd seen copies of the game (£30 RRP) for £80 on Amazon.co.uk. There was a nervous wait at the till while they fetched the real game from the warehouse, but now it's in the bag. THE BAG.

I'm happy, and not least because I've finished work for the calendar year. Enormous locked rant coming tomorrow. I'll see you soon, guys - keep it real (or unreal, or halfway between, or three-quarters of the way between - whatever's your fancy).
