Where has the time gone?
Today is the first show of Carousel. Then I will have a show every night until Monday. This is what I've been preparing for.... well, I rock. That's all. I didn't write yesterday because Adam came up to see me, and we had a fun time. We even went out for a nice drive before my last Carousel rehearsal, and we found a tiny "town" centered around a mountain lake with a cool, windy road. It was pretty.
Had a strange dream last night, with Alice-like things and this hideous, bright aqua and brown swirled dress with an olive-green shirt thrown on top. Hmmm. Check out my dreamscapes page.
Lately, I've been completely not hungry. I've been amazingly thirsty, but that's all. Wonder why? The full moon isn't until the 16th. Oh well. |

mood: quixotic music: Carousel - "You're a Queer One, Julie Jordan"
|
I don't know if my mood really is quixiotic, but it sounds like a fun word that few people use. Thus, I'm quixiotic. Hee hee. Got Carousel stuck in my head, and soon I'll go down and get some chips to eat. Munch munch
Stayed up until 4:00 last night (morning?) watching Cube2 Hypercube on Scifi. What did I think of it? Well, it was really cool, but I was clueless about what was going on or what the point was. Hmmm. Maybe it was just late? I don't know. One guy killed and ate the same guy over and over again, and there are a few warped scenes that I loved. Like going through the square door and being faced with your backend halfway through the same door.... Hmmm........ |

mood: weird music: Austin Powers main theme (Yeah Baby!)
|
Ever listen to instrumental songs while watching TV on mute? It can be funny. I was playing DaVinci's Notebook's "Another Irish Drinking Song" and the theme from Austin Powers, among others. It was entertaining. This works especially well with football games combined with Pink Floyd.
Okay, so I had a four hour Carousel rehearsal today and have another one tomorrow. Adam called and I was happy. Maybe I'll dream again tonight. Is it Sunday tomorrow? I'm losing track of the days. |

mood: lethargic music: Lord of the Rings - "Gollum's Song"
|
Another very busy day, but only until 5:00. I start doing Carousel every day until April 13th, and then I have dinner on the 14th. I can finally go home that weekend, too. I was planning on going home this weekend, but apparently I can't. Stupid Carousel.
My lips feel funny now. I'm listening to Gollum's Song from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. It's really cool. I love this music... it sort of sticks in your head and it's just pleasing.
Gonna go play some games now and just chill. I worked hard; I've earned it. I'll try to do AsDel on Sunday. |

mood: exhausted music: Sting - "Fields of Gold"
|
Okay, yesterday rocked when Adam came up and we hung out together and had fun. Now, compared to that, today was a busy hell. Well, not really, but it was busy.
I got up, and missed a phone call from my mom. She was going to come up around 6:30, to drop off my medication and hang out for a while. The problem: I had Carousel rehearsal from 6:00 - 9:00. Anyway, I couldn't call her because she had already left for work. I went to fencing and worked very hard, then came back to my room and grabbed something to eat. Then it was off to the art gallery for our English class.
So, after the art gallery I went to my bassoon lesson, which ended up being two hours long instead of just one. That ended around 5:30. Then I rushed to change my answering machine message so my mom could find me, then I rushed off to Carousel rehearsal and was there until 9:00. My mom interrupted rehearsal to give me my stuff, and was off.
Now, I'm just realizing that I only ate one meal all day so I got some chips from the vending machine because I have almost no money. Dang.
I hurt. Ow. Fencing and 5 hours of bassoon playing; and much more tomorrow. Joy. |

mood: anxious music: DaVinci's Notebook - "Another Irish Drinking Song"
|
Adam is coming up tpday but I don't know when... hopefully soon. I have so much to do today.
My first class was cancelled because my professor got Strep throat. I know how that is... I've gotten Strep so many times that I'm pretty much immune to the medicine for it. Ahem. But I got to talk to people instead, and download my new song -- The Irish Drinking Song by DaVinci's Notebook. Great group; I absolutely love them. Although the song is kind of morbidly funny.... ah well.
Time for psychology soon, then wait for Adam. Hope he comes. |

mood: chipper music: The Partridge Family - "I Think I Love You"
|
Well, got up today at 6:20 and took a shower, then off to some morning T'ai Chi. I don't know if I'll continue going, as I'll need to pay for it, but we'll see. Ate a long, half-hour breakfast, then off to Musicianship, which is always fun. Fencing was awesome, and a lot of guys flirted with me. That always makes me feel loved. Now I'm off to English, after writing a good Reaction Paper.
Adam comes up tomorrow.... hope then turns out to be as good as today! |

mood: irritated music: Wallace and Gromit main theme
|
Last night I was up until 2:00 in the morning. Why, you ask? Down the hall, in room 617, there is a girl who leaves every weekend. While she is gone, something in her room beeps loudly every 6 seconds. It was really getting on my nerves because this has been going on for about a month now. I alerted the CA's about it, and they unplugged whatever was beeping. If that happens one more weekend, though, I'll simply go mad. It's not fair to the rest of us; suffering with noise from her room when she's not even here.
Then I get up at 8:00 and wolf down breakfast so I can get to my first class, only to get there and find out it's been cancelled.
On the good side, I got to watch The Princess Bride with two of my friends. I love that movie, and Westley is absolutely so cute! *sigh* |

mood: indifferent music: Libana's "Whatever Circles Comes From the Center"
|
Just another snowy Sunday. Breakfast was okay, but I was a complete klutz. Maybe I should just hide in my room and save myself from further embarrassment ;) No, I'm just kidding.
Adam called me last night from a pay phone. Apparently his parents won't let him call me anymore because they are evil. He's already paying them rent and pays for all the calls he makes me! This is getting ridiculous. We aren't allowed to spend even one night together or go on a long trip together. Now he isn't allowed to call me and has to pay rent. Add to that the fact that he needs a better job and has bills galore. Grrr. But it's not up to me to make a solution for him -- they're his parents. |

mood: content music: Alice soundtracks
|
Well, I woke up today at noon to the sound of people in the room next to me having sex. Delightful. I'm considering moving my room around so my bed won't be as close to the vent. It also made me kind of want Adam, because they sounded like it was pretty crappy sex and I could show them what great sex sounds like...
It is incredibly foggy out today. I can't even see any of the mountains. There are also tour groups galore up here, and they just annoy and amuse me. Well, at least they won't all have their stupid little PSC umbrellas out like when it's rainy or misty. The tour groups always look like a flock of green and white umbrellas.
Ate bacon for breakfast. Played a bit of Alice; plan on doing much of nothing except playing on the computer, watching TV, listening to music, and practicing my instruments. Nice, easy, leisure day. |

mood: happy music: Tangerine Dream's "Thru Metamorphic Rock"
|
Gotta gotta love Fridays!
Had piano lessons this morning and did okay, but I kept on messing up. I also have a "4th finger cave-in" on both hands, but it's worse on the right. Apparently I am double-jointed. Anyway, I need to stop my cave-in, which is going to be about a month of hard work (my piano teacher said). I'm thinking of just attaching wire so it can't bend to cave-in. Who knows.
Other than that, I plan on doing mostly nothing the rest of the day. It's so lovely out... Spring is finally here! |

mood: tired music: ... stupid Carousel...
|
Well, here I am attempting a blog-type thing on a web site for the first time. I hope it comes out okay. Anyway, I'm also a little tired because I just spend the past three hours rehearsing Carousel in band. Yikes. It's now 11:22 and I'm tired and I hurt. But that's okay; in my bassoon lessons I ROCKED! Go me! Go me!
Did I mention that I was tired? And I've also been having rather disturbing dreams lately. See my Dreamscapes page if you want to read my dreams that I remember. They all seem to deal with death or the threat of death lately. I dunno. Maybe I'm just going nuts.
Hopefully I'll get to see Adam on Sunday. If not, then that's okay because I know he'll call and all will be well.
I downloaded American McGee's Alice off of Kazaa (finally!) I've been wanting the game for a while. It will go right up there with RUNE and Quake 3. |
