Mica: We have extra tickets to Red, Wild, and Blue (that 100.3 concert). Would you be interested in going, or do you already have some, or what?

There's gonna be quite a few big-ish bands there. :) I think Samira is going, and me... and some other random people who don't really matter. ;)

Lemme know ASAP please?

Life sucks.

Oh, and jerzyangel and cwazydesi... I have spiffyful new icons for you. I'll try and hook my computer up to an internet port tonight and get them to you, cause the comp I'm on now doesn't have an A drive to transfer between.

See you both on Tuesday? :) We need to find a time and place to meet on Tuesday. I'll have Janet and her sister Tanya (new fishy) and a few others that I pick up along the way ;)

*yawns* Charmed repeats are on. WAY old, back when Shannon Daughghty or whatever her name is was still on the show. It's amusing.

I need to write. BADLY. *frolicks off to write something*

Feathers, Part Five

With an audible sigh, Blair turned to his traveling companion. "Come on." He gestured for her to rise and join him. When she had done so, he handed her the small blue book and the ticket he had gotten earlier in the week. She seemed fascinated by the little picture inside her passport.

"This is me!" She seemed quite surprised, and it was the first real emotion he had heard from her since finding her. "How did you get this picture? And what is this name… Angela Davidson? Is this me?"

Blair nodded grimly. "Do you remember anything at all from before being captured?" He asked.

She shook her head. "Nothing. When I woke up, I was already in those chains. I can't remember anything else from before that." She looked thoughtful. "You knew me, before. Didn't you? I don't remember you, but you seem familiar, like I should trust you."

"I did know you. I was… am still, I suppose, your guardian." Blair stopped. "We shouldn't talk about this here. Come, we need to get to our gate for the flight. I'll explain everything after we land."

"Who were you talking to on the phone?" The girl, Angela, asked. "And where are we going?"

Blair just smiled and grabbed her hand to lead her into the terminal.

Typed on the plane. Yeah, I'm still alive... barely. I'll post more later, maybe.

Sorry it’s short. We both just wanted to get a chapter posted before we leave for vacation (both of us are going away), and with exams this week, now was the best time to do so.

Subject:Part Four
Time:10:31 pm.
"What do you mean, nothing?" Collin was desperate. No, he was beyond that point. Right then, he was almost ready to highjack a plane just to get to Dallas as soon as possible.

Blair spoke calmly, careful not to alert the blond woman that anything was wrong. He glanced over at her again, to check up on her, and found her blue eyes staring curiously at him. "I mean nothing." He said. "When I found her, not only did she not recognize me, but she was afraid of me. I mean, there was actual fear in her eyes."

Collin took a few deep breaths, before he spoke. "I assume that you already have tickets out, right?" He didn't wait for an answer. "And I assume that, since you went over there with the intent to find her, you already have passports?"

"Yes, to both of your questions." Blair shifted, glancing at his watch. "We're actually in the airport right now. Flight leaves in two hours, so we'll need to go get checked in pretty soon. We'll land at Heathrow at 7 pm, your time. You'll be there?"

"Of course I'll be there. Look for a red car out front. Now go. And..." Collin paused. "Gods I miss her so much. Take care of her, Blair Davidson, or I'll kick your ass."

Now Blair grinned widely. "Hell, I'm her Guardian, her Tracker. Nothing will happen to her unless I'm dead." He said.

Collin sounded relieved. "Just don't die, then." He said. "I'll see you in fourteen hours. Until then..."

He hung up before Blair could respond.

Part One
Part Two

Part Three:

Collin woke up to the most throbbing head ache he'd had in a long time. He groaned as he pushed himself off the crumpled bed, one hand rising to block out the glare of the mid-morning sun. A glance at his alarm clock showed him that he had overselpt. Again.

He stood, kicking aside the two beer bottles next to his bed and fumbling over three more on his way to the bathroom. The pain of that morning subsided as he relieved himself. He downed a cup of water from the tap, than another, the second one with two advil.

Just as the morning was starting to look slightly better, it got much worse.

The phone rang.

~

Blair frowned as the beep in the phone continued. After almost half a dozen rings, the other line was finally picked up and a tired voice answered.

"'ello?"

"Collin, mate, you there?"

The voice instantly lost all of its fatigue. "Blair? Where the hell are you?" A startled voice asked. "It's bloody ten in the morning."

Blair laughed. "I'm in America." He said. "Dallas, Texas, actually. I've been driving all night from El Paso. Hey, look. I need to get me and a friend out of the country for a bit. You think we can stay with you for a bit?"

Even though they were on different continents, Blair could practically see his friend glancing at a room he knew was filled with beer bottles.

A moment later, Collin responded. "Yeah, yeah, sure. Call me when you get a flight and I'll come pick you both up. You need anything special? Passports, IDs? I mean, why are you calling me out off all the guys you know here?"

Brown eyes instinctively glanced at the young girl sitting on the bench just beside the phone booth. "I found her." He said. He waited for an explosion, and wasn't surprised when he got one.

"WHAT?" Collin was now most definitely awake. "You found her? Is she okay? Oh, gods, tell me she's alright."

Blair shushed into the phone, getting the Englishman to calm down before speaking. "She's fine." He said. "A bit dirty and bruised, but fine." He paused. "But, Collin... she doesn't remember anything."

[/end part three]

Well, more tomorrow...

Part One

Part Two:

With a barely controlled rage settling in her body, the young woman did as she was told, setting down on her front and drawing her arms up beneath her. From this postition, Blair could see her that the shirt was open in the back, held together only by a string that tied around her small waist.

Juan now stepped closer and pulled the piece of cloth loose. It fell limply to the side, baring her entire back for the two men. "You see the scars?" He asked.

Blair nodded. He felt slightly ill from the sight; two long, puckered gashes ran down the pale length of skin. They were dark brown against the whiteness. Careful to guard his emotions, he nodded again. "Let's see them, then." He said. "Those scars could be from anything. I want the actual proof."

"You heard the customer." The knife was waved in front of her face. "Show them, now."

Though Blair couldn't see her face, he knew it had settled into pure pain. A bulge formed underneath the scars, and before either man could blink, a pair of large, white wings shot out of her back, falling naturally around her body as if to form a barrier from the rest of the world.

Blair nodded. "Alright, I have enough proof." He reached behind him and picked up the briefcase he had carried into the meeting with him.

The Mexican man practically bounced with glee. He had never had more than a few thousand dollars in his life, and now he was about to be rich as fuck. His expression didn't have time to change before the small metal bullet shot him through the head. A smile was still on his face as he dropped bonelessly to the hard ground.

During the seconds that the events had unfolded, the winged girl had done nothing but quiver frightfully on the table. With the sound of the gunshot echoing through the room, however, she pulled the wings back and spun around, eyes wide.

She seemed puzzled when the American did nothing more than tuck the gun in the waist of his slacks and toss the now-empty briefcase to the ground. She grew even more puzzled when he moved to her side an, instead of studying her wings or staring at her like she was a freak, unlocked the cuffs and helped her maneuver to her feet.

"Who are you?" It was the first time she'd spoken since he'd arrived; indeed, it was the first time she had spoken in many weeks. Despite her throat being dry and scratchy, her voice still came out melodic, and with a slight accent.

Blair just smiled as he led her from the building. There would be more time to answer questions later, but for now they both needed to go, before trouble arrived. All he said was "Pull your wings back in. We're going outside." When she did so, he slipped his own jacket around her shoulders to cover the bare skin, and brought her away from her prison.

Subject:Novel bit
Time:3:32 pm.
I started on a new idea for a novel today. Not really sure why... just bored, I guess. I'm just going to post what I have here, as I go along writing it. Maybe as a sort-of NaNoWriMo thing... only not, ya know? Sorry it's short, I'm in class. The plot will eventually surface.

Part One:

"So, do we have a deal, then?"

Blair stared down at the table before him, then turned his incredulous gaze to the man who had just spoken. "For 2.5 mil?" He asked. "Hell no we don't."

The seller, a man who called himself Juan but was, as Blair had found out, really just an illegal immigrant from Mexico City named Ricardo, nodded. "You will want to see more, no?" His mexican accent was thick, but his English was still discernable.

"Just show me."

Juan tentatively moved closer to the table an, drawing a butterfly knife from a pocket, proceeded to poke not-to-gently at the unconsious figure on the flat surface.

With the second stab, a pair of blue eyes flashed open. An expression of combined hate and fear fadiated from the figure's gaze.

"She's the one?" Blair frowned, studying the girl who's focus was now set on him. She was dirty, hair that once was blond hanging limply around a pale face. She was curled up around the chains that kept her captive.

A nod answered him. "She's the one." The Mexican glared down at his merchandise. "On your stomach, now! Vamanos."

[/end]

I'll continue when I get home. I'm in class now and the bell is about to ring.

Well... I haven't updated in a while. There's really not much going on in my life. Finished a few fics, which I'll post on here eventually. Um... *shrugs* Everything that's happened that's worth posting has already been posted on my LJ, and I'm really not one for crossposting, unless it's important.

March is NaNoEdMo, so I need to pull out my novel, dust it off, and get back to work on it. Fifty hours in one month. Thank whatever omnipotent being that exists for those lovely things called laptops.

Thank you. Now we all know ;) I'm looking for the "Hell Frozen Over" picture...

Am obviously bored. MASSIVELY bored.

Time:5:26 pm.
This morning, the owner of this LiveJournal totalled her car. Or, almost totalled it. Either way. It is broken.

I hydroplaned while turning and went into the other lane of traffic, hitting two other cars. Though, I'm only worried about two things. One: I got a ticket for "unsafe speeds" (because, of course, 5 mph is unsafe). Two: I missed my entire first hour Physics class.

Oh, and the State Trooper guy forgot to give me my licence and Insurence Card back. Lucking I got my new one in the mail today.

*sobs over poor, massively dented up car*

Also, we had the Bitch Lady as a sub for English. Ick.

Encounter 1/?
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Orlando Bloom (Legolas)/??
Authors Notes: I’m not sure if this will end up as a het or a slash fic. I guess it depends on what you all think. I’ve got ideas for both genres, though, so either is fine.
For any who care, I try to round my fics off to an even number of words. This one is 700 words.

Encounter, Chapter One )

Eventually I'll get to work on typing up Always With You. Until then, I'm doing drabbles and Orlando fics.

It does not appear as though chapter two of Two Lives Parallel will make it out this weekend. School is evil, I almost didn't finish my physics exam today, and I've decided to write some more Orliefic stuff, to get the list jumpstarted again.

Speaking of which:

Forbidden Words
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Not specified, implied Orlando Bloom/unnamed female
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Really. Except chocolate...
Summary: Sometimes the three words that mean the most are the three words that are forbidden.
Author's Notes: Just a little ficlet. It’s exactly 500 words… Wrote it because I was bored.

She would not let herself say the words, no matter how much she wanted to. )

Just a semi-drabble written from boredom.

Yes, a little pic thingy for AwY to stick on my site was finally made. And an icon, too. *points*

Chapter Two of Two Lives Again is going slower than planned, to in most to the evil thing known as school. Had my Physics teacher not assigned a nice, hard test for tomorrow, and my English teacher a MASSIVE assignment (that I have yet to start on) also do tomorrow, along with an essay and movie analysis for History and a sorta-easy worksheet for Astronomy... yeah.

It's almost 10.00... I need to do some homework!

Took state-testing thingy today. TAKS. I don't know WHY we had to take it, as it didn't count and we weren't supposed to have to take any tests today, but GAG ME. Boring. I wrote the entire essays (topic: Why is a positive outlook important in life?) on why taking pointless tests should be looked at positively lest they drive you to further insanity and force you to do bodily harm to the teacher in charge of the testing... funfun!
