11:45a - margaret cho is my hero
I found a link to Margaret Cho's blog from another feminist blog and have begun to read it religiously.
Since I probably can't quote the whole entry, I'll just quote part of it that I feel very strongly about and agree with.
"Young people have strong emotions, intense hormones that will not be silenced as easily as saying A-B-S-T-I-N-E-N-C-E. What they need is education, options, condoms, counseling, help, confidence, gentle awareness, trust in teachers, confidentiality, equality, reality, the fucking truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help us all God - not GUILT."
