Well, it has been too long since my last entry. I have been very busy, but I have missed my time getting down my thoughts and concerns. This weekend was really great and refreshing. My cousin came in to town for the weekend just to hang out and have some fun. We did a lot. The Barrett-Jackson car auction was going on so we went to that last night. It's the biggest auction in the world, so there are all kinds of exotic and rare cars there. People from all over the world are there as well. It's kind of an exciting feeling being there. Some of the bidding is crazy. When the get to the 300K plus price range the crowd really starts going wild and urges the bidders on if there is a contest going on. You can get some real deals as well. Some lady was able to get a Ferrari Berchetta that retails for 250K for 100K.

After we got done there we had a few friends over to the house. We had a few beverages and then we all hung out and talked for quite a while in the hot tub. It was a relaxing time.

I suppose that is about enough for now. I'm sure there will be something new to add soon enough. Until then. . .

Today wasn't half bad. I got up a little late and had to pick up my cousin and friend from the airport. Traffic was lite so it was a nice little drive. We shopped for a bit at a couple of malls and then my grandmother joined us to go to tea. It was a really great time. The resort is pretty exclusive, so it was an interesting experience. We all chose from the tea menu and then there were all sorts of courses of food. I enjoyed it nonetheless. I'm not too sure what I will be doing tomorrow, but I'm sure it will be another day of just burning time until the new week starts. I will have work on Monday. That's a good thing though. I need the money and something to keep me busy. We'll see what happens from there. I'm off to bed for now though.

It was a great day today. I woke up a bit late and cooked an English breakfast that was very good. All day long it rained and I welcomed that even though I washed my car on Sunday. It was overcast and gloomy all day long. I enjoy days like that for some reason. I find it refreshing and it kind of helps to clear your mind. I am also a bit melancholic, so I suppose it's fitting.

I learned today that one of my cousins will be arriving in town on Friday morning. My grandmother wants me to go pick her up. I am not sure what I will be doing Friday, but I am sure that I will be able to do so. It should be kind of nice to have some family around for a while. I really would like to see my grandfather though. I feel closest to him. I think that he has imparted the most influence to help shape my morals and thought structure. I appreciate him very much and enjoy all time that I am able to spend with him. I think he comes to town in a week or so, so it will be nice to see him.

Hopefully I will soon hear something of my job search. I have been left floating aimlessly for some time now and I would like some structure. Soon I will be working and taking a new night class, so that should aid in keeping me busy. I also intend to get a dog soon. I will get one as soon I am able to provide the proper environment for it and have the financial means to do so.

Enough of this for now. I'm off to bed.

I finally heard back from my supervisor today and things sounded odd. She told me that there was more stuff I would have to do before I would be able to make any money. I don't think that sounds logical or right so I've written that off and will be moving on to something a little more sane and normal. I am pretty good acquaintances with one of the managers at French Connection. I think I will talk to her and see if she could give me a job. It would be a great place to work and I would be getting some slick clothes as well.

My grandmother also came in to town today. I had to pick her up at the airport and take her on up to their house in Scottsdale. I had a nice chat with her over a tasty lunch, so I can't complain. I am not sure how long she will be here, but I'm sure I will spend a good deal of time with her.

I'm tired now though. I'll type no more.

Well, another weekend down and all too quickly. I went to the cinema last night and got out late and then I had to get up a bit early this morning in order to get to my grandparents house in Scottsdale so that I could turn on the heat and make sure that it was looking tip top because my grandmother is getting in to town tomorrow. I suppose it will be good to see her. It's been a while. I just get annoyed by her sometimes. She dictates what to do and complains a lot. Then when you make a stand she plays the victim and acts like I've lashed out against her. Hopefully she'll be in high spirits and I won't have to worry about it. I also have to get my job situation straightened out tomorrow. I need to be starting at a new job by Wednesday if the one I currently have continues to lead my nowhere. I'll do what I can with what has come my way though in the most positive way possible.

I went by my work this morning to see if I could talk to someone and figure out what's going on. I arrived at the office and there was a sign on the door saying that the office would be closed this week for some reason or another. I have decided that I will make one more attempt to make contact on Monday. If I am not able to get a hold of someone and get some work then I will go elsewhere. I have an offer at French Connection that is still outstanding. So, if worse comes to worse I can work there and that wouldn't be a bad job. The people that work there are fun to talk to, you have interesting people coming in to shop, and that clothes are tip top.

I also got signed up for class at the community college for a math class this spring. I had a bad experience with math in high school and college, so I thought that I would take a few steps back and get the basics down and then move on with my education in computer engineering.

I don't really have any plans for the weekend. I will have to see what comes my way and then decide on which route to take. I don't really have a whole lot of currency to go out anyway so I would just assume staying at home and have a few friends stop by. That is all for now. I hope some excitement is coming my way some time soon.

I started a new job about two weeks ago and everything looked like it was going very well. I completed my training then Christmas came along. I was supposed to contact my supervisor right after Christmas (which I did do) and she would then give me my schedule. I have called her once in the morning and once in the afternoon, yet I have heard nothing from her. She said that she didn't like people stopping by without an appointment, but I am dropping in tomorrow. She is being very inconsiderate and rude leaving me hanging like this while I need to be working and making money so that I can pay my bills. This is weighing heavily on me right now. If I'm not able to get a hold of her soon I'm just going to have to move on and look for work elsewhere. I'm sick of this. There were some good aspects of the day I suppose. I was able to rest up today and kind of take care of stuff around the house that needed to be done. I need to go hang out with some friends and clear my mind. I will update when I find out how things work out tomorrow.

I'm really not sure how to begin here. Starting is always a bit awkward. I'll give it a go nonetheless. Well, today was pretty much wasted. My roommate and I went out last night to celebrate a bit. We didn't go to any big parties or anything like that. Those are so impersonal and you never know anyone. We just went over to a friends house and hung out with some people there. We had a few beverages as well and got quite sauced. I got tired and went to sleep on a chair and woke up around 9:30. I waited for my roommate to wake and then we headed home. I was pretty drained so I went to sleep properly and woke back up around 3:00. It may sound incredibly boring, but it was quite refreshing. I've been tired since Christmas so it was nice to finally get the needed sleep. I'll hold off on writing again until I have something of more depth to write about, but I figured I better get the ball rolling. To be continued. . .
