Yesterday was my birthday. June 23 to be exact. I celebrated it last June 22 when Frank decided to lash out his fury in Metro Manila. Thank goodness some of my guests were able to come and celebrate it with me despite the harsh weather. I love you Frank, you were very nice to me. Yay! NOT! I mean, lights were out, it was almost zero visibility outside because of the rain and yeah floods too.
My friends in the office, Adam, Perry, Jann and Ken came. Ranulf and Mara also came. Mishi and Chepot weren’t able to make it because of the flood. It was okay. I had fun. I had the guests come to my house from the reception in SM North THE BLOCK and we spend chatting there, entertaining ourselves. Thanks guys! I really appreciate it.
Then June 23 came, Frank bid goodbye. Adam treated me a slice of cake from McCafe in McDonalds in Libis. It was a Black Forest and it was made out of dark chocolate. Then I received my birthday cake from the office. Me and my friends gobbled it up as soon it was handed to me. Then when I went home, my aunt bought me a huge brownie cake! You can say I have a cake overload.
A lot of people greeted me. My barkada, new found friends, online buddies, college and high school friends, my family and of course my beloved.
I’m officially 23 now. It’s like yesterday, I was just 20 now 23. Soon 25. Yikes. At 23 I found myself back to studying and in a relationship. Currently, I’m swamped with schoolwork. I have a lot of readings to finish before midterms. I have to finish it all. I have one month to go. Must work double time.
I’m pretty well in the love department. For now. I don’t know in the future but I am praying it will go well.
I decided to cut back on my caffeine intake. Doctors orders or else. Milk tea was my scapegoat when I can’t drink more caffeine.
I cosplayed but didn’t join the competition last Toycon and the feeling was lovely. But yeah, cosplaying is very expensive. I’ll stick to costrip thank you.
At 23, it feels like my life is just beginning.

I wonder what would it be like when I am 24?
But yeah, you gain a year, you gain a point in maturity, a point in life and a point in experience.
